I'm a bit late to the party, but when I saw Collectibles Direct was doing a 20% off sale for March and they had Whisper in stock, I did what anyone reasonble person would do and smashed the buy button until she arrived at my door. That was yesterday and today she's here: Arrived unbroken...

I ended up canceling my order and eating the NRD, with a passable paint job, leaning issues outta the box, and a base so easily damaged they had to make a warning pdf on how to take it out of the box, it just has too many issues for me. I had to struggle to do so, as I love the Dark Phoenix, but...

Ouch, do you get custom taxed on top of that? :horror With shipping and customs Dark Phoenix is costing me £594 aka $735 USD. I've still got a few more pre-orders to go before I can walk away, but at these prices I not gonna have much choice...

The 13 day notice is great, that her shipping cost is $98.62 when Red Sonja's was $93.82 is weird, I would have thought Dark Phoenix would be cheaper. Edit: I looked up the weight and DP while a lighter statue then RS, has a higher international dimensional weight. So it's the box size...
