Alright...thanks, I guess lol. I'll have to invest in a heat gun. It does seem like a bit of a pain though, and something that Hot Toys should have fixed. It has stopped me from taking the rest out of the box to inspect.

Mine arrived, and I'm still unboxing it. Question: Has anyone, anywhere, been able to assemble the two-part base? Iron Monger won't fit. The slot isn't wide enough for the middle pyramid piece. I measured and it's a couple of millimeters (at least) too small. I'm at a loss.

This guy seems kinda like a bust, if popularity is a judge. I've still got payments on him. I'll admit, my desire in this line is starting to wane.

Should arrive Tuesday. Hope someone is there to sign for it. Can't wait!

Skin tone is different, glossier, and lacks the fine shading and detail, pants appear new and unused, base is different and has less weathering... Could just be the pictures, but all these small differences add up. One of those statues is clearly professionally painted, and one is factory mass...

I must be the only one who sees a huge difference between the advertised version and the final...

I'm still holding out for a more comic book inspired version in 1/3 scale...but this guy sure is growing on me. Luckily there's no rush.

1. No, mine doesn't. I made sure to be careful while assembling it since I know some had issues with that, but mine doesn't touch. 2. Maybe? The engineering on this piece is awful. It's held upright by one magnet, pressure, and prayers. A stiff breeze could knock this $1000 piece over.

Venom Bane got delayed, so it'll be a bit longer.

Re: Magneto - Premium Format The thing about this piece is that I think it could actually look good with a different paint job and a new collar/cape. My initial reaction was how garbage it looked. Now I'm warming up to it, and hoping that SS's actual pictures make him look better.
