That really sucks FS - I hated to part with mine, but he was wobbly in the base, which had me worried all the time about coming home to have a gander and see him in pieces!
But, I just received a package of special magnificence, so hopefully he will be perfect!
Aye, Tis!!!!
Tell me where is Gandalf, for I much desire to........put him on me shelf!
My replacement Gandalf should be here in the South Farthing in just one more day, as the Brown truck drives...!
Took!
Re: Sideshow PF Jack Sparrow In Progress
Thats exaclty what I'm say'in?
Where can a Took (and Fronkenstein) save $65 schillings??!
PS - GTG PF is awesome!
Well, Tooks Gandalf is headed Into the West........as we speak.
He left these shores, of Florida that is, 2 days ago.
Alas, the peg was mounted crooked, and Gandy wasnt too sure of his footing.......
Jaclyn at SS customer service has been great!
Cant wait to get my replacement - I miss him...
You'll be glad you did.
I've read the books a few times (paperbacks), but a high quality tale deserves a high quality book, if you get my meaning. Just feels nice to hold that quality, hardcover.....thats just Tooks opinion!
Sure does. I used ComputerFly's pics for ideas.
I used a spray bottle with water and got everything damp and the wrinkles fell right away, (didnt need the hair dryer) and was easily able to shape the folds so that his outfit hung more naturally!
Damn - I love this thing!
I checked it out and now it appears as thought the peg is bent, not allowing the heel of his front foot to get flush on the base. I am able to get quite a bit of wobble even when he is seated on the base.
Gonna contact SS for replacement.
Thanks Skutto!
I will look closer at it when I get home tonight, but his front foot appears to be pretty much flush. I think the hole is the problen, may be a little rounded, allowing me to turn it some, even while the peg is fully inserted.
I think I will give them a call....
Hey all,
Looking for a little feedback.....
I noticed that my GTG doesnt sit 100% solid on the base. I have had to place a small folder over piece of paper under his rear foot to tighten it up. Other he leans foward a little too much. Anyone having that issue?
I'm wondering if I need to call...
Really nice looking duster and a great idea! Maybe just a little weather/mud spattering, that would be cool.
Now all I need is a Aragorn PF and Tonner duster and I'm all set!!
