AFAIK Steve West is now under contract at Sideshow Collectibles, and the previous "release" was an unofficial Garage Kit. So this is now the official release of his bust, I expect to see him as a sculptor for sure.

This Frodo figure (or maquette?) has actually been made for the movies. It seems that they also worked a little bit on it and provided some kinds of scans/maquettes/whatever... Concerning the animated thingie I am a little bit on the fence because while it's cool for Star Wars, the style just...

Mookeylama, you have to keep in mind that Attakus is a French company, so this one time you US guys are on the shipping-wise expensive side. ;) Apart from that, my first and only choice is the Attakus Vader 1. The pose has so much charisma which you just can't see based on photos... Why isn't he...

Another question would be - is the new 12" license announced tomorrow LotR? Because if it is, smaller standard bodies suddenly aren't a development done only for a Yoda and perhaps an Ep1 Anakin, but it is a development which has to be done for multiple characters...namely all the Hobbits. That...

Well, obviously the other statues are in a state of very very early prototypes. Attakus has the tendency to show these pretty early, which is great in my opinion. But you always have to keep in mind that there is lots of work to do...trust me, these will improve, and with the license issues...

Ah, thx. Now it's clear to me - the mouth part is just not accurate. Even though the crinkles are something Carrie Fisher might not like ( ;) ), they are part of her face and should have been represented. Overall, the face is just too off for this price in my opinion...but I'm glad for everyone...

The face doesnt impress me too much. Doesnt look like Carrie Fisher to me...somehow awkward. Otherwise - very nice pose decision, nice clothes. But the face... :sick
