The seams are really unacceptable, given the price-- especially considering several companies have produced cheaper R2's with less visible seams placed in less conspicuous places on the dome.
So...Just get R2 then? Am I missing something? Why buy a figure of a character you admittedly don't like? Man, some of the collecting on this forum boggles my friggin mind sometimes.

That's one of the things I want from a new Star Wars movie. I want stormtroopers to be legitimately scary, organized, formidable enemies. Think the first time you saw droids being deployed in ep. 1 crossed with clones. Such a cool design and idea shouldn't be wasted on canon fodder.
