I dunno...everyone expected Infinity War to result in like 40+ figures...but in the end we only got a handful and some of which were pretty bad figures too, so for me that dwindled the list of must-haves for the IW line.

Basically I don't think it's a sure bet that Endgame will have a ton of figures released.

Only a handful of IW figures? Thanos, IM, Cap, Thor, HB2.0, BW, Rocket & Groot, DS, Iron Spider, Bucky and War Machine. That's a pretty big handful.

Still only a portion of what people were hoping for though. Happens every movie. Black Panther came out and everyone was hoping for all the female support cast, when history tells us that you generally only get two or three figures from the solo movies. Then with the Infinity Wakanda battle people still hoped for those same figures. (Suprisingly we did get a Shuri from Black Panther). Ragnarok we got a little spoilt (still one figure short of what they teased though). Ant-Man we won't get any more (it was really The Wasp's moment to shine anyway). Honestly I'll be surprised if we get any more from Captain Marvel than Captain Marvel herself. Especially with Endgame being so close, and being the movie everyone wants.

Age of Ultron still leads Infinity in the figure count, and with Endgame so close, it likely will continue to do so.. Pretty much the only guarantees in the Hot Toy way of life are Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, War Machine, and maybe Hawkeye and Hulk.. (if Hulk was in Wakanda like the trailers showed, a figure of him would have been made for sure)

Definitely some wishful thinking on my part...and I don't doubt there will be some disappointments with the Endgame line, both in terms of quality & quantity. But hopefully HT will hit a few home runs with this flick.

On a toy. Over the years, toy lines have gone in all types of directions that do not represent the movie. Too bad we got nothing in the trailer to kinda answer the question.

Did AoU really have that many figures? I'd have to go back and do a count. Considering there were 4 other characters from IW (BP. Shuri, Gamora and Star-Lord) who had their figures released under the recent solo movies, that makes 16 characters from IW with figures available for purchase. I know a lot of people were hoping for a few Black Order figures plus any or all of Nebula, Mantis, Okoye and M'Baku, but that's still a pretty decent count.

20? Damn. Here's hoping End Game doesn't come anywhere near that number - I have neither the room nor the capital to add that many more to my collection. But I agree - Nebula is a must.

Yeah. Same. I'm picky when it comes to what I buy for financial and space reasons. I've only been collecting for a year. I'd buy her and Ronin/Hawkeye for sure if they look good.

I can't imagine I buy much from this movie. I already have all the main characters with looks I enjoy.
