So I'm getting ready to place my first order with Tweeterhead and I see you can either pay $100 now and the rest later, or the full amount now. Is there really any reason to pay the full amount now? There's not any extra "bonus" or anything to doing that, right? I assume they charge the remaining amount when it ships?

Actually you pay $100 + shipping now or the full amount + shipping. There is no bonus to paying in full. They have said that they hope to change the payment options/plans when they update the website in the future to give more/better options on how much and when to pay. They only reason to pay in full now is to just not have to worry about paying when the statue comes in.

Ok thanks, that’s what I figured. I ordered this Batman, as others have said I was a bit surprised to see it still available on their site. I’m essentially replacing my Sideshow PF’s with both this and the black version when it’s released; I like the Sideshow PF’s but instead of having those I’m going to put these 2 on opposite sides of my desk. I’ll have Prime 1 1/3’s as my big (huge) Batman pieces.

These are great looking statues at a decent price point. I've been thinking of jumping back into 1:6, but would need to decide between Tweeterhead and XM. These are bright, nicely designed and sculpted, and have a classic look. But XM's are super detailed with more features (albeit at 2X the price or more after shipping). It'll have to wait and see. Already too much on preorder as it is.

I'm personally getting both collections, but if you do want an XM piece get it through Speculative Fiction he has the best price, XM Joker shipped with taxes is going to be around $440 with the Twetterhead Joker shipped with taxes will be around $330, so they're not quite 2x the price but still up there...

Yeah Batman is my favorite character, and I just like having a lot of his different looks. I’ll have 3 massive P1 statues (Hush, DKR Black, DKR Blue) and having these 2 black and blue will, for the most part, give me all of the “major” Batman looks I’d like to have. Having those 3 on large displays and these 2 on my desk will be a nice way to round out my Batman collection I think.

That will be one incredible Batman display you'll have! I'm trying to figure out if there's any way I can accommodate both the Hush and DKR blue P1 statues but likely have to settle on one.

This is the best 1/6 Batman statue I've seen, hopefully I can find a UK retailer selling it.

I was at one time trying to also stick to certain scales for certain characters / themes. DC were going to be 1/6, Star Wars 1/5 and 1/3, etc. It all quickly got shot down LOL. Right now I'm more sticking to characters I love. Batman, Wonder Woman, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers (OT). So I've kind of thrown scale out the window and I am getting the pieces from those characters that appeal to me.

I got this exclusive on order, I will also get the DKR blue P1 and I also own Batman in the Yamato black costume (which reminds me of the Nolan trilogy Batman somewhat). I would rather have pieces I consider the best from the characters I like the most in my collection than try to limit myself to scale.

Also, though I don't really have a problem with Tweeterhead wanting $100 now (or even the whole payment at once if the statue is in stock) it is always odd to me for a company to want all your funds on pre-orders. I got both Mondo exclusive BTAS 12" figures (Batman and Mr. Freeze) and to think they have over $400 from me and I will have nothing to show for months is not the greatest policy.

However, I try to come at it from the companies angle too and I get you don't want a ton of pre-orders being cancelled either. So it's a fine balance between turning consumers off and yet securing funds for the niche items you are producing.

So a couple things, one I am pretty shocked the exclusive Batman is still on there. Two, have any of the Super Powers shipped yet? They have an awful big line right now with more coming so I was just curious.

Lastly, I wish I had more space as Donna Troy and Catwoman look great (even Supergirl) but I think we as collectors all have to make hard decisions based on our space limitations at times.

Harley Quinn and Supergirl have both shipped already (as has the bottled city of Kandor). Joker and the hounds are both waiting to clear customs and should be shipping very soon.

Awesome, thank you for the information! I almost got the Supergirl exclusive with the cat, but again space issues. Have to check some threads on here to see how she turned out.

I think this statue just needs more “advertising” - I bought as soon as I heard about it - hearing about it is the trick.

Sideshow has a preview of him today, and there was this one as well. I like the blue/grey suit better personally but I always have. They also show Robin, who looks great!
