With no NRD or quantity limit they’re basically a go to source for potential scalpers. Probably one reason they’re selling out so quickly at BBTS.
A lot of these figures sell out preorders at BBTS and then come in stock on release. I just can’t imagine Ant-Man actually selling out quickly when this is the 3rd version of a character whose previous figures hung around a while. You really only have to go by what the Sideshow stock says, for the most part. If SS starts shipping out a figure and it has still not gone to waitlist, then usually BBTS magically has in-stock figures appear as well. Belle, ESB Yoda, Iron Man Mk 5, Anakin, Deluxe Spidey are all recent examples (though the last two did get bumped up in price) that came in stock after selling out their preorders at BBTS.

Agree with Hypnobrett. BBTS etc could also be seeing some buyer fatigue after all the Marvel films back to back. Or they may have simply thought these two may not sell in huge numbers. But in the end it's still early enough to probably increase their order from SS. I'd imagine any new listing will be with NRD though.

Just watched the movie, it was amazing, light and fun. Definitely stay for the first post credit scene
Wasp was bad ass but I really hope Hot Toys nail Paul's face sculpt, he is so charismatic and charming, they really need to do his character justice.

Yep, had a lot of fun with this movie! And speaking of end credit scenes, just doing a favor for everyone, skip the very last one that comes after the entire credits play. It's dumb, only like 5 seconds long, and not worth the wait.
And yes, I second that, on HT hopefully nailing the Paul Rudd headsculpt. They really need to redeem themselves for the travesty we got for CW.

2 things. 1) look at how much **** they have left over from the past 3 years, of course they should keep orders low, better to sell out and have made money then to make money and then bleed it sitting on dead stock. (Also due to tons of collectors that see the next shiny thing and bail on PO's)
And 2) SS is working hard behind the scenes to limit wholesale and focus more on their retail. BBTS is the prime example, they buy from SS and undercut them by offering cheap shipping, im sure SS has lost a tons of potential revenue due to things of this sort. So what SS has done is made sure BBTS gets their stock late or last, I guarantee it will slowly get worse
They charge nrd now, they just don’t order as much or atleast put as many pos up, they wait for ssc to sell out so they can jack up the price. Another reason they sell out fast is they double box, which IMO is a huge benefit. Every box I receive from them arrives in pristine condition, which is the opposite of ssc all their stuff arrives like it’s been kicked around in a warehouse for months
They still don’t charge a NRD on most Hot Toys. They do jack up the price once SS sells out, which is a bit irritating.

Without getting into spoiler territory, I’d love to see a Hank Pym figure as he appeared near the end of the film.
As fun as the movie was, I gotta say I was a bit disappointed that they didn't give Ant-Man very many cool or heroic moments in this movie compared to the first, and he seemed to spend most of the time in the new suit just bumbling around or getting his ass kicked.
For that reason I'm almost tempted to hunt down the figure from the first movie instead. As much as I do like the new design and how good it looks next to Wasp.

I’m just hoping the Paul Rudd sculpt is better this time around.

It was more of a wasp movie then antman movie. Scotts character regressed alot in this film in order to elevate wasp, i was shocked by how much they dumbed him down, he seemed like he was just there for comic relief..And Ya the suit was a joke much like IM3 suit. I still dont get why hank gave him that suit, it could have killed him on multiple occasions, and if it wasnt for Hope he would have.

Just saw the film. Haven’t had much time to digest it yet, but I liked it. I have Wasp on PO to pair with my v1 Ant-Man. I concur though that it seemed more a film centered on the Pym family than it was Scott.
