Man. How do some of you find justification for a $400 1/6 figure?

This is insane, not even the "I have the $$$ , IDGAF" line is valid. Why the **** is this so expensive?

since all the older iron mans that Id want are around the same price, (some even more) I have no issues paying this much, especially when I can use the payment plan and not have to worry about dropping 500+ on a single figure in one day, allowing me to preorder even more like thanos, groot and iron spider!!!

Agreed- these aren't the iconic looks so I don't need these anyhow. Saw the pricing and it was an easy decision.

I've always thought for me that Avengers 1 had the best group look, but Avengers 2 had the best figures. Although in saying that, for me I still prefer the more modernised Captain America look in AoU and Civil War. Infinity War will be the least overall desirable look (but the best figures), and I can't see given the different story arcs and extra heros involved that there will a reunion of the originals..

I'm done with IM after I get the gantry. Getting too ridiculously expensive. Thanos however...

Yikes. Iron Man is getting to sci-fi looking for my tastes. And that price. Good hell. We're a year or two away from paying $500 for a 12 inch figure.

I'm also worried about that little bit of Thanos in the picture. I'd much rather Hot Toys skipped the under armour Thanos and went straight to the traditional armored version.

My guess and hope is he’ll come with full armor to apply. And charge $567.00 for it.

Man do I feel like a jackass not ordering the civil war version from Sideshow when I had the funds. Sheiiiiit. I guess I'll be hitting up eBay when I get some play money.

The arm cannon and wings are giving me some serious Halo vibes...

Hmm, I like the armor design overall, but not as much as other armors. It seems to be a more powerful armor, and the suit 'morphing' big guns and wings is just too cool to me; it's something I'd imagine as a kid..

May pick one up later on if it feels ok.

I've disliked the armor trend since the 45 and this is the worst one yet, its just a goofy cartoon now. Mark 43 is the peak, and good for me cause the diecast tax is a joke.

I just got the DC Mark VI which I bought on flex without any points. It costs me a whopping $404 out the door including shipping and taxes! That was the most expensive HT figure I have ever ever bought. Now you are telling me this one starts at that price level, but not including shipping and taxes?! So out the door will be around close to $480!!! Almost $500!!!

I’m perfectly happy with my Mark VI & XLV. Thank you very much!
I’m worried about the pricing for the imminent DC Mark VII...

This is also plastic (as opposed to metal) and is reusing a base mold that (that they probably made their money back on the first go around).

What it's made from doesn't matter especially highly overrated diecast, that Gladiator Hulk looks like it's worth $400. ;)
