I always end up with about 150-200 every year thanks to ordering a few figures and Spook.

Man Id have a serious egg had they not burned a hole in my pocket right after each Spook.
2017 earnings went to ESB Vader.

Can anyone explain to me how you get hold of these "Spook" credits? Any info would be much appreciated

Yes, I bought my Wonder Woman BvS from them.
They shipped with Quantium Solution with tracking for US$31.10 to Germany. So it was acutally very fair. And it was quite fast.
And they marked my package US$10 (unfortuately I was unlucky and the authority still opened it and asked for the original invoice. So I had to pay full customs fees...)

After placing an order, you will receive an confirmation email with the shipping costs. You will then have the choice to agree or to cancel the order. So there is no risk.

HOWEVER:
1. My Wonder Woman came without the original Hot Toys brown box
2. For pre-orders you still have to pay fully in advance
3. I contacted them for a replacement part, but they never answered me

It's reward points, same what you get for ordering anything from Sideshow. During Sooktacular event (Halloween) Sideshow posts codes on their social media. Codes has various values, from 50 cents to even $10. They are posting codes at night and/or any other inconvenient time for every ordinary human being. Catch is codes expires very quickly (in minutes).

Yeah I searched the XL site to find shipping rates from Malaysia and couldn't. They want all your info first. But I do see that general shipping rates from Malaysia are about $40.

So there's still a savings but not much. I didn't bother to check their return/replacement policy. Likely they don't pay shipping.

Buying from Malaysia is asking for trouble......

Yes I got about 35 last spook and most of that because of those threads....use the Tapatalk App and set notifications for that thread and your phone will alert you.

Even at work I was able to snag quite a few by staying logged into SSC and adding the codes as the alerts came in.

BBTS will resupply stock IMO. There is also Alter Ego, they have RPs.

TW is a trusted Seller, I'm using them for a bunch of stuff and you won't find better CS anywhere.

Yep. SS's Emperor is one of their rare figures that seemed very hard to top... but I had faith in HT. Not disappointed.

Sideshow's Emperor still deserves a lot of kudos, the basic headsculpt is really good and has the likeness.

HT pushes ahead in the race with superior paint mostly, but there's also an added level of find detailing that Sideshow didn't have, but the biggest, and I think very important, difference is that HT went with a single piece head and neck, which is big given Palpatine's anatomy. Sideshow hurt theirs a bit by giving extra articulation where it wasn't necessary.

I actually called them talked to a guy Nathan, super nice. He said Sideshow limits their supply, he sounded frustrated because still a year to go for pre orders and Sideshow is limiting all suppliers "a way to make sure nobody gets as big as them". Bummer. He said he's going to reach out to them but doesn't think they'll raise his limit.

No problem. In that case I would do just what you said. Get your guards order in with BBTS asap as there is no NRD and both will ship for $4 total.
