Some short film called snow steam iron I think? Only available on some certain video provider. Shot it on an iPhone that did all the post processing etc to Snyderize it.

I'm the same way. While I still liked the theatrical cut of BvS, it really does pale in comparison to the UE and the UE shows just how much the theatrical cut left out. Though technically, the UE is a "theater cut" as well because it was showed in select theaters for an evening, so it wasn't something that just went to DVD.

The UE of BvS is my personal favorite modern day superhero film.

BVS is up there for me. But my personal favourite 'modern' (as in DCEU / MCU) movie remains MoS.

In terms of DCEU rankings I'd personally go:

MOS
BVS (theatrical and UE are the same ranking to me)
JL
WW (reason for lower ranking is its just very generic and nothing new to see, a very 'safe film' in every sense, IMO)
.....
.....

I don't think we will get pure Snyder's cut but there are high chances for extended cut 2:40. I'm sure all Whedon reshoots are already in so they must add Snyder's stuff there and its already confirmed by insider that they are still working on the visual effects. fingers crossed.

Now there is some VFX artist who claims to work on the film saying the Snyder cut doesn't exist and it's all BS. And then other who claim that the whole thing really does exist.

But all I know is...

If we believe there is even a one percent chance that the Snyder cut exists...



Lol that film has so many quotable lines. MoS being my favourite and the one I watched the most I still can't really remember any lines from it. But BVS is so quotable, whether one thinks that's a good or bad thing

I'm glad to see that others appreciate the DCEU as much as I do. All I see for these movies is hate, even from friends... The only movie I didn't really care for so far as Suicide Squad. It's watchable, but I still really hate Will Smith as Deadshot. And the extended cut was so lame in comparison to the original that it actually made me hate the movie more (by that I mean the differences were hardly noticeable and largely unimpactful)
But MoS, BvS, WW, and JL are all fun watches for me and Cavill's Superman is still the only live action superman that I ever found interesting. I hope they keep trucking with it.

These are my sentiments as well. BvS is the best for me, but BvS, MoS, JL and WW are all a close 1-4. SS is meh, but it's a very distant 5 from the top 1-4.

I agree. I’m avoiding all the hate. It just seems ridiculous. I can recognize and make fun of the cheesy parts but straight up hate seems like an awful lot of energy to waste on a movie.

I enjoyed the movie and can’t wait to see it again in the theater.

I wasn’t going to get this, but after watching the film the other day, I actually like how this suit looked in the film. I liked the white highlights around his muscles on the suit. I always thought the BVS was too dark of a blue, but now it reminds me of the comic style more

this is an info I know too. it was shown at private event. ppl can confirm that. and I'm sure this ''snyder's cut doesn't exist'' is spoken by WB insider.

It is a problem. Studio execs think they know what the audience wants over fans and the directors. They cut things to fit a narrative that they think works which in turn would sell more tickets. But rarely are they correct. They know they will make bank on the back end with a directors cut blu ray release anyway so it’s a win win for them.

And they don't learn from previous mistakes. Batman Forever suffered from the same treatment. Anyone that has seen the red book version of that movie knows how WB interference and re-editing can spoil a whole movie.

It's probably because for whatever reason, they so badly feel that they need to catch up to Marvel and compete with them, that they want to oversee everything to make sure it's done "right". Hence, why you also see all these knee jerk reactions from them whenever something doesn't go their way; usually something, ironically, that they're the ones who screwed up in the first place by feeling the need to stick their nose in and direct.

Granted I think that even their theatrical cuts of films are better than a lot of MCU films, but the point is that the films could be even better (as seen with the BvS UE), but they're the ones who shoot themselves in their own foot. I personally feel BvS would have made a billion had they released the UE from the start.

Because they're doing their job. We always hear about how a studio screwed up a movie by interfering but how often has a good producer made a movie better by pulling on the reigns? Probabl a lot, that just doesn't make for a good headline.

To be honest...this is how A LOT of businesses are run...even the Federal Government. There's A LOT of leadership that is "out-of-touch" with their customer-base or their lower level workforce...and unfortunately, WB management is one of them. In my work, we talk about how the old-timers are still "living in the Cold War"...and that's probably how some of these studio heads are, they're living and working in a bubble and surrounded by "Yes men" and living off how they remember the "Good ol' 80's action movies" (which were awesome...but still...you get where I'm going).

Unfortunately, the DC movies and their quality is in a constant tug-of-war between the creators (producers, directors, crew, cast, etc.) and the studio...and it's probably going to be that way for a little while longer. The good thing is that they're now "done" with Snyder, they had their "overall positive" movie in Wonder Woman, and finally have their own "Kevin Feige" in Geoff Johns (assuming he's empowered as he should be and can make good MOVIE-related decisions) and Jon Berg (whose credits are "Out of Time" and "Elf" before DC...who is this guy?).
