As much as I love these great movie coming out of Marvel I would really love to see a Female Superhero take the big screen. And please no disappointments!!!

Xmen had quite a few. Elecktra had her own movie and was also in DD....oh wait you said "good" movie.

I'm guessing you mean a stand alone film. Who would you want to be in a movie all their own?

Preferably a movie about a naked team of hot lesbian superheros!

That would be awesome.

i cant think of any stand alone marvel female character that can draw alot of fans.

Not sure ... my fave is Rogue but they killed her story line in X-MEN ... I don't think it would work out. I notice most are never stand alone in movies ... but I would really love to see one break out of the norm.

Black Widow could hold her own in a movie - and then be added to the Avengers movie for a sequel (a la Ultimates!) :chew

Lets see. a stand alone female hero movie? Black Widow could work, so could Domino, Storm if played by someone who can act, She-Hulk, How about a Carol Danvers/ Miss Marvel movie?

Ms Marvel sounds cool ... they would have to have Captain Marvel, so she could get her powers ... It would have been cool if they didn't use rogue in the x-men moives and bring her in to get her flying powers ... I hate seeing rogue not doing anything in the movies other then hating her powers. But Black Widow sounds like the best to come out solo ... then the hulk could come out in the end and ask her if she wants to be part of the team

Marvel superheroines haven't really been spotlit very well. A lot of great characters mentioned but there aren't a lot of them that will hold a film on their own.

Take a look at their listings:
https://www.marvel.com/universe/Category:Women

If you are looking for the Marvel Studios treatment you have to remove the X-Ladies, anyone to do with Spider-Man, Fantastic Four or Daredevil because in order explain 98% of their origins you'd have to deal with the current studios....

She-Hulk is your best bet. Ms Marvel would be nicely done as well but I don't think that Marvel Studios has enough faith in her to give her a film on her own yet, I see her more as a part of the Avengers first and then moved on to her own solo if her character is well received.

Marvel has a lot of great female characters but the current various studios owning a lot of the rights screws the pooch a little on a lot of them.

I have that on DVD already, titled 'me and my girls' :monkey5 :D

Great idea though, I would have loved to have seen X-men's Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix story made into a film but shes dead (in X3 anyway) so I cant see that happening, but that story alone could make a singular exciting film.
That was another disapointment of X3 for me, that Pheonix's story wasnt utilised enough.

Would love to see it done, any female hero, if done well will be outstanding and about time
x

:love

Ahhh ..this is my curse I guess..I desire a woman who loves women and lives an ocean apart from me....:monkey2

......but it always has a favourable outcome ;)
If I lived closer Shai you would have some serious competition for those ladies in your photo's :monkey5 :naughty :zzwhip

WHY FORCE THEM TO CHOOSE, WHEN WE COULD PLAY ALL TOGETHER...:naughty

No matter what female Marvel character gets a movie made about them, you'd have to have a killer creative team putting it together, otherwise you're just gonna have Elektra 2: Elektrik Boogaloo...

She-Hulk, as mentioned before, is your best bet, and it would be fairly easy to pull off. Just have to have Ed Norton in the film for five minutes to give Jen a transfusion. And since these Marvel movies are sporting the cross-over characters (Tony Stark in Inc. Hulk, for example), it might be fun. I think doing a CGI She-Hulk would suck - probably need to do all the fun camera angles that P.J. did in the LOTR movies to make hobbits seem small against humans who towered over them.

Black Widow would be alright, but I think it'd play just like Elektra - special chick who knows kung-fu & killin'.

I dunno if this counts, but I think the best idea would be to feature Wasp and Ant-Man in a movie together. I don't think Ant-Man has enough allure to hold his own movie...neither does Wasp, but they're both integral parts to the Avengers in their own rights... I think you could get away with something like that.

Rogue would be neat - but she's tied up in the X-men (and I think Ms. Marvel oughtta come first... but then Capt. Marvel would have to come before that... what a tangled web...).

Regardless... the one female superhero movie that's gonna be the determining factor is "Wonder Woman."

If a "Wonder Woman" movie fails at the box office, you can write off any other lady hero movies. Just too bad DC/Warner moves at a snail's pace. They've got all these spectacular properties and (other than Batman, the perennial favorite) they're just pissing them away.
