There are lots of high quality pics on Facebook. Only from one person, but lighting and focus is terrific. I would say those are going to be pretty representative. Probably would have benefited from a sculpted neck.

I think people are being too forgiving. Would have sworn this was a knockoff if only I didn't know better.

Looks awful from head to toe.

I’m not a fan of this either. Sculpt looks weird and the outfit doesn’t look good on that body.

I’m passing with the hope of a Radiation Suit Doc.

Having him looking off to the side was a mistake. When he's holding something in front of him, he has to turn his head away for the eyes to line up, looks very odd. His jeans are also too short, bend his knees even slightly and his legs are showing.

The expression looks exactly like this in my opinion:

The sculpt does look good, but I'd agree that it dropped off from the prototype sculpt. However, that's nothing new, and is usually expected.

BttF2 is my favorite of the trilogy, but I think I'm good with my Part 1 Marty and dare I even go as far as saying the likeness on that looks a bit closer to BttF Marty than what this looks to BttF2 Marty. I kind of like the expression on Part 1 Marty better also because it would go perfectly with a 1985 radiation suit Doc with the same expression (which the Part 2 Doc figure has) where they both have a WTF expression on their face after the DeLorean actually works.

I think that scene would make for a better BttF representation in general than the Part 2 figures would.

Even if the likeness were better, the grim expression just doesn't fit the character well at all- - especially in those early 2015 scenes. Not sure what the hell they were thinking with that.

Tailoring could be better on pants. And the jacket material seems too thin. But at one point I was willing to shell out big bucks for a custom that wouldn't have turned out as good. So, I'll take it. I'm glad it's happening at all. But doesn't seem like ht's finest achievement.

:exactly:

As I mentioned, it looks exactly like this to me:

Which was all of 3 seconds.

My ideal generalized BttF display would be this exact scene:

Which I think the Part 1 figure's sculpt matches perfectly and is pretty much the general expression he wore for the entire 10-15 minutes when Doc introduced him to the DeLorean.

Much more iconic I feel than this 3 second scene and matching expression:

The sculpt makes me feel so sad…. :(

This was never on my purchase list but I feel like HT’s might have peaked and now their on a plateau (staying the course). Nothing is blowing me away of late (including my very own Ripley). I wonder if they miss KA Kim under their employment.

Although I have Marty pre-ordered I'm thinking along the same lines and just getting the Doc figure. Very surprised if a 3rd party radiation suit isn't up for order soon after that figure releases.

I love the outfit and accessories with this figure but the sculpt just looks too lifeless. He looks really bored or even depressed.

My sentiments also. I think it matches the "the answer's no, Griff" scene, which I would characterize as being more stern than bored or depressed. However, I would agree that on the sculpt, it comes across as looking a bit more bored or depressed than stern, even though to me it's clearly meant to be that same expression.

The expression on the Part 2 Doc would be ideal for that Part 1 scene I posted a picture of, so if a third party makes a radiation suit, that would be awesome. I would think you could simply just buy a generic body for it and then a parted out Doc sculpt.
