Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Hope they make the whole lineup of heroes and villains from JL unlimited.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

It's not the box itself that is the problem it's the price of the set because of the box.

At $28/figure, it would come to $140.00, which is exactly what most online retailers were offering it at for pre-order. DCBS had it for $119.00. Kevin Kiniry himself even practically encourages folks to find a better deal in the unboxing videos.

If you're paying full MSRP, shame on you.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I'm going to be pissed if they don't do more STAS figures.

Same here, but I can't bring myself to buy that set. Supes' jaw is too wide, his sleeve cuffs are too wide, and the 3D sculpted house of El shield on his chest is really weird.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I lied. I also want this as a two-pack:

Joining the wishlists conversation...

Besides BTAS Two-Face and Scarecrow, which are sure to be produced at some point, I would really want this cutie:

latest

Then I would have all characters I ever wanted as figs. :clap

These 3 could come in a 3-pack, and I wouldn't mind it at all. :lecture

However, if such multipack was a 4-pack, then I would want Thorne too. If a 5-pack, then also Red Claw. Those two would be bonus figs to me, as is Montoya.

I've always saw Thorne as one of the main villains of the series xDD I would totally love to see him in figure version. DCC proved with Bullock that fat characters are pretty easy to do by them xD My list of characters to see will include the same 3 you said plus Thorne, Strange, Kyodai Ken and Grey Ghost. Let's cross the fingers.. :rotfl

It's more the principal of it. Regardless of what you pay for it, it still has an MSRP of $175. Supporting that will only lead to more ridiculously overpriced ****, like the Alfred set that's $75 too much. Plus with this lines track record with paint apps, it can be pretty risky not to pick out the figs in person to ensure you don't get stuck with a dud

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Saw the Superman two pack in store this morning. Had a couple of minimal paint defects but in general they buyable. Not as accurate as they could be but they looked great. The cuffs on Superman looked a lot better in person and I was really tempted to buy it but was able to resist....for now.

Agreed - the cuffs are a lot better in person.

Those awful new clips on the other hand...

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Hey S.Griffin,

I would like to ask two things: 1) If they do plan on correcting the hat from the Joker's Expressions Pack. I don't know if you guys feel the same, but the brim seems too short to me.

Also, if they are not shown, could you ask if they plan on releasing more Batman Beyond and Legends of the Dark Knight Episode characters (the classic Joker, Batman and Robin, to be specific.)

Thanks in advance.

Really looking forward to Supes, Lois, Batgirl and the Rogues pack!!!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Regarding the box for the GCPD 5-pack: I personally don't feel like it's going to stand out very well in stores. It's a cool design and everything, but I don't think it's doing itself any favours in terms of looking great on a shelf in order to sell itself. The colours aren't that vibrant, and the figures are very much obscured. If these 5 figures were in the usual BTAS style multipack packaging, they'd stand out more and be much more visually appealing I think.
