Yeah I noticed a lot of people here love to complain but still buy it anyways. Hilarious. Some complaints are legitimate though, like Drax body (side by side compared to film).

Instead of people complaining, they should post an actual picture of why the sculpt is off or why the red paint is too shiny.

Simply saying them doesn't make them any more or less credible. Provide proof to back your words.

Agreed. If it is something blatant about the figure, I can understand.
But this nitpicking just to pick at each figure is ridiculous.

As far Drax, now that I have him I can see the complaints with the body… but I still like him overall.
The detail sculpt on the tattoos is beyond amazing. Props to Hot Toys for that.

Just glad they finally released him instead of not at all (Like Yellow Jacket and Crossbones).

I usually just feel a bit sorry for collectors who see a figure that looks as stunning as this one does and they immediately find things to complain about. I'm glad my personality allows me to enjoy these things when they turn out this incredibly well. There's so much "boy who cried wolf" complaining for every single figure release, that when there ARE legitimate complaints or grievances, like with Drax or Chewbacca, it just kinda loses its meaning. I do start to wonder if there is a bit of uncanny valley effect going on, where the closer Hot Toys gets to making figures that are completely film accurate, the more the tiniest little issues jump out to some people.

Finally

Looks like it's going to be my first Iron Man ;)

This one doesn't have an exclusive edition, right?

Also, if it's released in HK today when will it start shipping from China? I was thinking about buying one from there instead of waiting for Sideshow as the prices don't differ that much...

Where else can we see in-hand pics of this guy?
Jingobell has some nice pictures up. And there's an unboxing vid w/ Budget Stark and the Toysdaily guys that gives a good look. But are there any other bloggers who have pics yet

I think this looks great. I decided to pass on the MK45 as I didn't like the in hand pictures, and was torn between the 2, the MK45 & MK46.. I prefered the look of the MK45 prototype. The released MK45 figure has no hips at all as the torso looks like it extends all the way to the legs. The proto didn't look like that.

I only want 1 DC Iron Man, and this might be it... I still like my MK7 as the nicest armor (I have original MK2, MK3 BD, MK7 Reg & BD, MK17, MK33, & original MK1 WM) but this is cool as it's more modern and all the lights are neat. It's just the price that kills me since it's DC. I set my threshold at $300 so as to not go crazy. And SW always trumps any comic characters for me (except maybe Thor). This is gonna be a tough decision for me.. Hope he's around for a bit.

Really looking forward to many comparison photo's with other IM armors to make my decision.

Oh heck yes!! I'm so excited for this, and the forearm missiles are included!! I cannot wait! I hope the turnaround for this is as fast as the war machine mark 3's was.

Had 45 on pre-order but emailed and got 46 on pre-order and they switch the dp to 46 and got me to pay the same payment date as 45 so only have one payment left of 78 dollars for 46. How much do you think the shipping will be from sideshow. I live in texas.

Wow ok. I think the fact that it included the B/D chest plate really sold me on this over the MK6.

I think it looks absolutely amazing. Wow.

Well yeah, I buy these for the hyper realism not to play with them. And they're not cheap

last year i got the mark 45 from sideshow, I live in Texas. Shipping was $17.96. Typically i paid $10.00 for regular figures. The diecast adds up.

The Stark sculpt on this looks stupendous; however, I won't be using it, unfortunately. The Mk 46 is my favorite armor and with that being the case, I prefer to have it displayed in full armor. Plus, I plan on doing a fight scene display with him, Cap and Bucky.

Cap and Bucky are already in their fight poses, waiting for this figure to arrive so they can beat up on it. I'm using Mk 7 right now as a stand in. :lol
