I'm hoping XM does a better job with the X-Wing and Dagobah Lukes they have planned.

I don't have any faith in XM's likenesses.

ESB Han on a Falcon base with a Stormtrooper blaster. Bizarre. That's definitely one exclusive accessory that will remain forever in the box.

Otherwise the figure looks awesome and I can't wait to own it.

Sideshow has taken stylized to a whole new level with this one.

I get that Han is meant to display with Chewie, but as a standalone the base is an eye sore. Looks nice otherwise. I'll probably bite.

I'll preorder cause the OG Han PF looks horrible by todays standards. I have him hidden down in the bottom of my case (and looks even worse next to Chewie). At $550 perhaps the exclusive should have been a round base to match the original Chewie instead of a stormie blaster, or maybe just something to swap out for instead of the weird Falcon wall part.

550 is a LOT. Don't think I can pull the trigger. Also the details on the front of the scope looks a little off. Should be 3 screws holding it together not just two on either side. For a statue this size and price you'd hope they'd get everything right. Does looks good over all though. Come on HT and give us this guy [emoji1318]

I like it. Kinda looks a bit like Dennis Quaid from one angle but not in a deal breaker kind of way. That Millennium Falcon wall piece looks like it could be optional to the rest of the base for both this and the new Chewie pf. At least I hope that's the case...

I'm not quite feeling it...the head looks a tad big/cartoony, the jacket looks cheap/cheaply made and $550 is a tough pill to swallow. It is better than the first PF but that wouldn't be hard to beat.

I think it's a pass for me. Not a fan of the likeness and I would prefer the smuggler look. I'll just have to hope Iron Studios comes through.

It's all going to depend on how the production/in hand pics look like, especially the headsculpt.

I just have no faith in Sideshow anymore when it comes to actor likeness', as I've been burnt too many times, just in the past year!. Especially when it comes to their production pieces, preordering is a risk.

If they used some sort of translucent resin like other companies do, I believe this would solve one of the major contributors to a bad head sculpt, and that is the paint app. Just look at the recent production pics of Winter Soldier and Falcon from Iron Studios, there's not too much to complain about.

Looks better than the old one and better than all the other ones that were never made. I'll take it easy choice. Hope I can remove that ugly piece off the base. Totally idiotic but I guess they still match R2 and c3s stand. They should sell the Chewy stand for people that want a match but have the Chewy already.

I think the sculpt and pose are great.

Base would look so much better without the back part.

Don't care about the Ex so will wait for in-hand pics to see if Sideshow can match the proto paint.

Tailoring looks great, pose looks solid. Not sure I like the sculpt though. Will wait to see what this looks like in hand.

Until then going to continue hoping Hot Toys reveals an ESB Solo sooner rather later.

I already dislike most of their non-realistic portraits, and both their Anakins were yucky in my opinion, so they'd have to improve by leaps and bounds to impress me, and I can't picture them doing that hot on the heels of the Vader trio.

But hey, we'll see. I'd love to be wowed.

I truly don't understand why, if they were going to do a switch out blaster, why they would go for the e-11 stormtrooper blaster over Han's original/smuggler version of the dl-44. I mean I know he didn't have that in Empire, but he didn't have a stormtrooper blaster in empire, either, and at least the older style version of the dl-44 has an actual long term connection to the character, unlike an enemy gun that he just used when he was in disguise...

Sideshow, always with the baffling decisions.

Still not fully sold on the likeness, or the size of the head, either. This was looking like being my first PF purchase in years, but now I need to see more pics before deciding.

What's up with the small Millennium Falcon pieces they are putting on the base of Chewie and now this? I know it's suppose to be a part of the wall, but it's so small that it looks out of place.

I understand your feelings. Fett and Vader set are part of the early sculpts. Lucas do not allow proto types to be shown like Marvel and DC and are much stricter with the license so they were unable to get feedback. In the early days the XM head sculpts were not up to par with the rest of the statues, even they admit that. I have Fett on PO because i think it's a cool piece but they have worked very hard in that regard to improve over the last year or so. My understanding was the Vader set was one of the older sculpts. The newer stuff that have planned are leaps and bounds ahead in almost everyway as have been on recent Marvel and DC statues head sculpts. I look forward to them being shown publically when they get the greenlight.

As for Vader, XM have learned from their mistake and gotten a lot of feedback and will rework those. I too would prefer a single Vader but the next batch of stuff will blow your minds for what they have in store. Unless you are one of the XM haters who hate what they do no matter what. Have faith my padawan. I honestly think they will be amongst be the best 1/4 scale Star Wars statues ever made.

Back to Bespin Han. This is my favourite look for him. I just pray to the statue gods the final product looks this good.

It's suppsed to be the wall of the Falcon. Does not work for me. Hope you can detach it. Cloud city base would have been so much better. That's the same pose he makes when he shoots at Vader.
