Can't believe there has been no comment on Ivy.
Like, no one noticed at least how off the colors are? Are they even collectors?????

They were quick to notice the lack of hair on Batgirl's shoulders, but they can't even see how wrong Ivy's colors are?
Are those b*tches drunk?

Makes me worry about the people at ToyFair.

Looks like we here are the only true BTAS fans that can notice it.

Sorry, I was hoping there would be over 100 comments bashing Ivy. Guess I had my hopes up too high.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Maybe the people commenting about the 5-pack weren't watching it on the same TV set. Again, color perception is subjective. The hair sculpt is off a little but show me control art from the series that shows her at the same angle as the prototype image. I think she's better than she's getting credit for.

The issue with the 5-pack is the sticker shock and lack of perceived value of that battery-powered light-up display box.

Agree about the bang, as some people might easily overlook it.
In fact, I've been comparing that image to several Ivy screen shots since they showed that proto, and I've come to the conclusion that the bang is just simply slightly falling over her left eye.

The white line I drew is where I think the bang should have ended. It shouldn't fall over her eye by any means.

Ivy_LI.jpg

Just a simple detail that makes all the difference.
I also changed the color of her hair on that mock up.

But the colors, man... I'm sorry, but it's too obvious not to notice. By just having that proto image side by side with ANY of Ivy's screen shots, you can notice it. Anyone can. The figure's colors is its main problem.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

The Ivy figure has a number of problems. Honestly, I guess I wouldn't mind the colors being off if they fixed the hair and the chin. Ivy might've had the roundest chin out of all the female characters on the show, and the chin on that figure is so sharp it looks like it could cut glass. Add it all up (colors + hair sculpt + chin) and the figure really misses the mark.

I see your point and agree about the chin too. However, in my eyes, the colors and the bang is what is really making it look off.

Oh, man.... :( Carrie Underwood sums Ivy up perfectly, like:

Clayface finally came out over here today!! He's such an awesome figure to pose :D

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

It's a trap!

Great shots, sfa!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Nah... Most likely not, sadly.
With this many BTAS figures coming all at once (I mean, it's six BTAS figures!), they'll most likely save other BTAS characters for SDCC in July or the 2018 ToyFair.

Oh true, I always forget abot TNBA figures.. ^^" Beside the Batfamily I don't collect them. Btw, I was wondering.. TNBA figures line is over at this point? I don't see any major character left (Gordon maybe?). Am I right??

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

There are not many left but they still have to do Penguin and the Mad Hatter off the top of my head.

Those are the 2 I'm most concerned about. Calendar Girl, Batwoman, Ventriloquist, and Clayface would be nice though.

Oh true! The skinny Cobblepot! xDDD

I hope not, there still figures to release like Gordon, Mad Hatter, Penguin, Alfred, Bullock, Montoya, Clayface, The Ventriloquist...

Yeah, I've forgot so many xD Uhmm.. Wasn't Clayface almost the same TAS look?
Now that I think, would be cool to see a Bruce Wayne figure, always liked the fact he had blue eyes.

I'm glad to see the backlash on the facebook page though. No one is happy about it coming in a set, and such an expensive set at that. Lots of people saying they're going to pass (except one particular idiot, whom I see everywhere, who would defend a dried up piece of ***** wrapped in newspaper, if it came from DCC). Hopefully Toyfair gets the same results and DCC scraps this idiotic pack all together. I was surprised that no one mentioned Ivy though. I'm sure they were too distracted by the general ridiculousness of it all lol

I want Skinny Penguin too! If they're making that ugly ass Riddler, may as well give us Midget Mad hatter and Penguin too lol. TNBA Clayface looked awful! Wouldn't drop another couple dubs on that lol

I emailed dcc and they told me they don't have plans for mad hatter At the moment :(

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

IF they do decide to bust this set up into individual releases, I only hope that it doesn't take until well into 2018 to get all 5 of these figures because DCC has to "re-strategize" how to release them as singles.

Sigh
Well hopefully we'll get the Mr. Peanut version of the Penguin though.
