Dunno... don't think it would be announced before Alien Ripley has been out a while. ...they want us to buy as much as possible you know. Many only want one Ripley and many (mistakenly ;-) prefers Aliens Ripley, but would still buy Alien Ripley if there's no other choice.

It would be great if they at least gave us some production photos, something. Considering they pushed back the release date twice in less than a month.

I played it safe and picked up the Power Loader a couple of years ago, as it was a good deal and I didn't have much hope of HT's ever revisiting it. I'm actually working on fixing the fragile hose connections on mine.

Yes, also considering that the improvements don't seem that significant besides the paint job. The price will/would be very high anyways so I have no plans to switch mine out if it does get released... only the driver of the thing. Whomever that is.

They are prolly nudging it as close as possible to the Covenant release window. Plus Rogue push, plus Chinese NY.

I'm pretty disappointed with this half-assed effort, lack of detail to the outfit ( pants corset, white shirt; no brass snaps, pen holders or badges, jumpsuit vs 2 piece pants and top, sculpted vs rooted hair, etc.).

The best possible outcome COULD and SHOULD be a Big Chap 2.0.

Most definitely the driver! That original Ripley is horrendous.

Delayed again! Three times in a little over a month. Just received email from Sideshow of a specific date of May 5, 2017. If things play out the way they have been, there will be numerous more delays the closer we come to this newest release date.

another delay? I haven't received another since the last one, but it doesn't surprise me anymore!

Wow. That's a long time. This is why I don't preorder anymore, besides the NRDs. It's become too unreliable.

I still want this figure to finish off my Alien display. With this, that's it, I'm out, Alien is done, over, kaput.

Terminator is already finished for me. And the trifecta -- if they ever produce a properly scaled Classic Predator -- will be the end of that.

My 2017 list ...

Ripley
BW - Peter Venkman
Snowtrooper (on the fence)

which one will arrive first....

If were lucky Batman Returns DX Penguin :dunno (hey one can still dream can't they?)

Not having ordered from Hot Toys before I'm ignorant as to how they do things. I was starting to think they were bumping figures for the Rogue One movie characters, but they aren't anywhere on that list. So I'm assuming production must be pretty tricky for such complicated and intricate figures. Painting 3000 heads per figure would take time.
But pre orders are frustrating. Won't do it again, though risking the figure being sold out if you don't.
