Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

So nobody got the Batwing? I saw three in my store yesterday. They where numbered till 8000...

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Have one on order with DCBS. Honestly as awesome that it is thats in scale, after seeing pics on IG I'm kinda regretting it.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

The cheap clearance prices are part of what made it easy for me to jump into this line so late. I've only been in it for a couple months now, have a dozen figures so far, but can't support the line at full retail price. Heck, my comic shop owner can't bring himself to put them out at full MSRP because he knows they won't sell. He can't be making a very good margin on these at all.

I LOVE the look of the line and I'm a big fan of Bruce Timm's style but I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to support a line that's jumping in price while suffering in quality.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Kinda frustrated with the Batwing because I keep reading different release dates.

SDCE has it for mid-December. That's where I pre-ordered.

that's exactly my point! older figures like Nightwing or Batgirl had awesome articulations and price was way lower. Most of the new one lost a lot of articulations (jeez... now Clayface lost even the knees one?!) and cost even more! I really don't get this policy.. :cuckoo:

Mine is shipping from DCBS, should arrive by Friday :D I'm sure photos will be posted on here by folks in the next day as they get theirs. I can't wait to see how people display it.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Most comic shops already have the Batwing. Should be easy to get it.

This is the first BTAS release I'm passing on.
I don't care about the vehicle, never did, really. Therefore, I'm not spending that much money on it.
Also, I don't have space for it at all. :lol

A lot of the bigger figs are lacking the knee articulation. Manbat has none, Croc has none, personally I'm glad some the more top heavy figs lack the knee joints because they would eventually get so loose the figs can't stand. My Ivy who's obv very light has such loose knees she can't stay in her pose with her knees bent at all. :/ Not that I don't enjoy more articulation, but I want the figs to be able to remain standing for years to come haha

True that haha. If I did end up getting it I'd just wait til next year when the price drops closer to $100 bucks, like it was originally announced to be

ahahahah same here! This thing is so huge! not a big fan of the vehicle too, but it looks pretty damn great! I'm hoping more for the bike... would be very cool :D

I totally get your point, the fact is that i don't consider this Clayface one of the "big" figure xD I mean, is just a bit more taller than Batman.. :/ my personal opinion is that figures should not just have articulations, figures must have functional articulations. We're in 2017, companies have experience in the field. The point is they simply don't care too much in my opinion. If they can sell without put effort and money they do. But again, is just my personal opinion. :D

I just pulled the trigger on it and ordered it from Dreamland Comics. Their site said it was in stock so hopefully it will be here next week.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I have to wait until after the New Year to nab The Batwing but it's still on the plan.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Ok so when the Batwing arrives just how are we going to display it? I am looking for some inspiration......

I plan to get a wall hanger (or 2) of some sort once I have it in hand (Christmas Day) and figure out a way to secure it to the wall. Maybe by Christmas others will post what they use to mount it, and I won't have to experiment.

Great place to do business with! I ordered my Batmobile from them last year (along with a Robin & Batman) for $119 shipped, and they arrived swiftly and safely. I preordered the batwing through them too ($133 shipped). I recommend Dreamlandcomics.com to anyone looking for BTAS figs because they sell them below retail and you can call their shop during business hours with any questions.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

The Spot...hahaha
I cannot stand the way that news reporter refers to himself in the third person. He does have a really good setup for us seeing the figures he reviews, though.
