From the moment it was announced, Disney/MCU fanboys took to the internet to destroy it. Then the fanboys who call themselves "certified" critics finished the job opening week.

Another reason why I hate MCU disciples. They'll praise garbage like Ant-Man but bash Trank's FF.

Yeah, I agree with a lot of that. It may not have been great, but it never had a chance to begin with. Sad.

Like I said, while I may not have loved it, I did like it.

I walked out thinking - "why all of the hate?"

As you said, whether fanboys or not, they felt they were critics and this huge s#^* storm ensued. The movie was doomed before it even opened.

Donald, I exorcize you! Get out of this body!

Could Bendis and the Donald be the same person?! Sad thing is, Bendis (the writer of that gen up there) is writing the new Doom ongoing... Eh, at least the art is nice (Alex Malleev is the artist).

As for the movie, I don't see how anyone can call himself an F4 fan and like it, but whatevs... I had no problem with them going with the Ultimate version, but they managed to **** it up even with taking the easiest route. I do hate the whole Doom thing though. They should just get someone like Aronofsky to do a movie based on Brubaker's Books of Doom. Triumph & Torment could also make for a great movie as well.

:lol

I'd say the truth is somwhere in the middle of what you typed there. Sure, there's a lot of fluff in the MCU movies, but a lot of them are fun to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed Ant Man, & disliked Fauxtastic Faux. I'll give a movie credit where it's due, but none of these movies are masterpieces.

That said, I would actually like to see Trank's true vision of the movie, & not what we got, which was a hot mess. :)

I tried to watch this on HBO, and I couldn't even get through the first half, which many suggest is the best part. Drama felt totally flat across the board. And those are good actors, so I have to blame the writers and director. It kills me that the FF have been treated so terribly in film.

No thanks.

Hey man I know you don't like marvel but it's the only way at this point. Like spiderman, people won't accept a marveless ff4 or even the xmen now. Fox got deadpool right but fantastic four is pretty much dead. I remember people giving spiderman **** for not being with marvel and now look. It just feels weird that marvel doesn't have all it's characters. I never felt like Fox used the xmen to there full potintial accept wolverine.

FOX is capable of making a great FF film. I hope to combat [and troll] the MCU fanatics, they adapt a ripped from the comic 616 Fantastic Four with Moleman as the villain.

Make it hard for them to hate it by having it be extremely faithful to the source and bring in someone well-known in the genre to helm it, like Matthew Vaughn or Matt Reeves.

man you know Fox doesn't wanna risk another FF movie right now. Hell the license is probably at marvel now. Idk and I didn't think the first 2 FF movies were bad tbh.

Every film producin' company consist of a bunch of tasteless ***holes. It's all about creative people they hire and how much damage these ***holes eventually do to their creations. Every company is capable of producing great films, it's just that they're not interested in doin' so.

Fox will come to their senses and sell.

They have nothing to gain by selling.

All they have to do is sit on the FF for the next five years and then try again when the MCU is on its last legs given that their films are getting more and more bland.

The word "safe" is becoming synonymous with the MCU. Only took three years for that to happen. I'm expecting the word "crap" to be the "safe" of 2021.

I'm sure your reality will remain consistent. Most people will just continue watching what they like.
