Kraken licensed Toho’s THE RETURN OF GODZILLA (1984) for Blu-ray and DVD in North America. The discs will be available starting September 13, 2016 at the SRPS of $14.98 (Blu-ray) and $9.98 (DVD).

Just got my gigantic 62. Can't wait to get it out of the box. First G film I saw as a kid. One of my favorites from the oldies. So glad this wasn't a stylized version. I wish they hadn't gone that direction with the first couple. BG and GMK are numbers 2 and 3 right behind 89 for all time favorites and can't enjoy them the way they should be because of artistic license.

not sure who's selling that for 50$ but I bet you can pick it up at best buy for 15 when it comes out.

Well that's the original Japanese version. Is the new one going to have both versions of the film? Not that it matters...it's one of the few cases where the American version is better.

I believe so. Both versions on the new remastered version.

Got an order in last minute at bbts for Biollante. Decided to dump 1999 gigantic to pay for it. It's awesome but I only need 2 godzilla and it's not THE godzilla for me and size wise it doesn't go with anything else I have.

I hope you don't become part of the deflate gate with your figure. Looks like theres lots of deflated tails and arms cursing this figure

Damn thats good. I have a feeling they may "iron" out the seam for the final product.

my buddy and i were speculating at maybe this is the og godzillla the one destroyed in first movie back and regenerating after the oxygen bomb seemed to kill him. prolly not but would be cool to think this is the original mutated back for revenge. and yes we were high as giraffe ***** at the time so theres that..... sounded pretty damn cool at the time lol

Many shared that idea, myself included, but it's confirmed the story is the first time the world ever sees or hears of Godzilla, no ties to any previous films.

Thanks! I was just wondering how he measures up... I am thinking about getting him but all I have is 12 inch figures. If you could put Rodan and Godzilla next to him... Either your DAM G or 1964 if you have him... That would be nice. Next to Anguirus would be nice also
