Our reaction to the reveal. [emoji1]

The more stills from the show I see, the more convinced I am that the error/issue of the prototype figure is the lower part of his head (the neck):
It is excessively large and wide, completely wrong, making the upper part look very small.

It's really too bad and sad, because the body actually looks very good. :slap

I wish he look more like this Clayface. Maybe this one isn't perfect but looks very screen accurate unlike DCC image we have seen...

I agree. That one looks a lot better than the DCC proto. I don't really care about a stomach bend. It ruins the figure. Same with knee joints. It takes away from the design of the character. I think DCC would be better off just making this figure have three points of articulation (head, each arm that move up and down). They would save money that way and could give us a ton of swap out weapon arm attachments seen in the show.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I can now understand why they said no pics of Clayface a few months ago. It was terrible then and is still terrible now :lol

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

hahahaha Yes!

That's why I think that prototype photo is an early proto pic, and so was the proto figure displayed at the Comic Con in July.
I bet they displayed him to see the fans' reaction, which most likely wasn't positive.

I'm confident it has since been reworked, and we should see the official prototype announced at the Toy Fair in February.

Man, I have to say that I'm REALLY relieved with the new Batman from the 2-Pack.

I can't stress enough how much better the new head is.

Now we have a 100% accurate Batman head/face from The Animated Series.

I would have hated that. I'm glad to have figures finally of these, and not just more maquettes or kenner articulation level figures.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I don't see how that got past them. Batman's eye slits are smaller than the teeth and they didn't forget to paint those, Robin had his teeth painted, etc. etc.

The Horsemen made that, huh? Maybe DCC should hire them to do these. That looks really damn good.

Worst case scenario, if it's that bad.. there's still this clayface.. and although it seems too small, it's not that bad:

I still have both of mine (the original DCSH and the DCUC Two-pack with mud Batman). Great figure with a fantastic sculpt.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Yes indeed! unfortunately the rubbery one will deteriorate because of the material.. sigh.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Whats the articulation on Killer Croc? Promotion pictures shows he has like none.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!
