I wish GG had them available as I would have bought 2 sets cause I did buy them from ebay and overpaid big time, I think I will do a quick spot light video on them but seeing as they are sealed I want to keep them in package, they would have next to no display presents out of package. They are pretty sweet looking, I could get into collecting them along with the jumbo versions, they are essentially like having collectible figures of your collectible figures

Nice reviews and pics, Skull. I got both my Rock 'n Rolls today. Love it. Packaging is awesome and looks great. Ah the good old days of file cards. Definitely on board for all of the Joe they do. Still need to grab Grunt.

I have turned my back to high-end hot toys collecting to pursue this line exclusively, the packaging and quality of the figures them self are top notch, just stunning. My only concern is not seeing these churned out quick enough for my appetite for them, time to see some more on pre-order

Yeah I've kind of ditched all my lines for the most part. Still collecting vintage Joes and some other odds and ends. These line just seems like a perfect compliment to my vintage stuff. I didn't get the nostalgia pull from the Gentle Giant SW line as much as I do the Joe line. The MOTU jumbo(s) are nice as well.

I had a few of the vintage Kenner Star Wars stuff as a kid but as soon as I seen GI Joe I ditched them real quick, Joe the king of my childhood. I didn't buy any of the GG Star Wars figures however the Mattel giant He-man figures are cool too, I got the first 4 they made, but the Joes are the best, done so well, they actually seem nicer than the original figures with perfect paint and super high quality plastic and of course the use of bungee cord over rubber O-Ring was a fantastic upgrade
I've dabbled with collecting vintage Joes but I don't think I will seriously dive into that, its kind of endless and expensive, this GG line will serve that purpose perfectly. I have a couple of things outside this line I still intend to collect, mainly the Mondo Turtles.

I was just thinking today that I wish they were doing one of the figures I love, and that one was being released for Christmas. Would be such an awesome present under the tree.
Who's your favorite? I could think a bunch of figures I want, firefly, duke, flint, ship wreck, scarlett, cobra commander, outback, beach head, gung ho, destro, the list goes on and on
Wonder if we will get a sgt slaughter for the line

I'm not really into the 82 figures at all. There are a smattering of 83 figures I could go for, but mainly I love 84 and 85. So until and unless GG does those, I'm not buying them, as cool as they are. My favorite figures are Flint, Zartan, Dusty, Firefly, 85 Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow V1, and the Crimson Twins.
The line gets better in those years I agree, the first wave is pretty plain but I had them so the charm is still their for me, I've never really been the completest type, but with this line I'm all in, hopefully it will get enough traction to get to the fancier waves of figures, not sure what GG's plan is, but if they follow the line as it came out it may be slow going and sales may be luke warm cause your not the only one waiting for the heavy hitters to release before jumping in.

Just got my shipping notice from BBTS for Stalker and Snake Eyes. Hope this line lasts a while. There are so many figures I'd like to see.
