Ok i just stupidly tried to take the hands off real quick to see if some hot toys pegs would look better on this guy and low and behold both hands snapped. Damn! It took me a while to get those broken bits out of the hands but i managed and got the ht ones on. Looks better i guess though i wish the default pegs were painted and didnt break so easy.

nice pics! thx

so what happened w/ the pegs? are they just cheap and break easy or did you do something wrong? did you try heating them first? just curious because i'm going to try swapping the body when mine shows up and like to know what to watch out for!

Yes the pegs are cheap and fragile, the bit ends that go into the hand snap easy. Out of the box he has the bendy hands on and they came off gently enough, but when i tried pull off the knife hands they snapped. Yeah heating up the hands to make them come off easier is prob a good idea but seems tedious to do every time u want to change hands. I wont bother posing him in any other way besides his blades so no big deal. I can tell u though if they do snap on yours it will be difficult to to get the broken bits out.

I kinda hate wrist pegs on figures, they always break at the weak end and the wrist end is always hard to remove. If it happens i suggest (what i did) is soaking the hands in a glass of hot water till they get soft. Then dig the broken bits out with something. I used tiny flathead screwdriver and a knife. For the wrists remove the forearm wraps by gently pulling it forward over the broken peg. Then i used a vice grip to pull it out.

Though i suppose it better to not break them in the 1st place and either just use caution or switch them out for hot toys ones right away sot they wont break.

Same here, the blade hands are the only ones i will use. Its just ridiculous that they would use such defective parts, AF normal hand pegs were like sideshow and the old hot toys. They never broke on any of my other figures.

On a side note i painted the irgun blade with some gold paint, since it looked dirty gold in the film i just chose to go by the film look. I gave up on that stupid sheath though cuz it sucked. I want to just tuck it in his boot which is how he had it in the film anyway, but there is no room in there. I really like that his blades are metal though, so cool!

I think this is how i will leave for a while, like how it looks. Decided to do an outdoor shot.

I hope they keep the trend going of doing cult characters. They didn't waste anytime with Max though.

Ordered from Timewalker. payment got deducted on the 16th and no shipping notice nor change in status on the site. I'm in the dark when it comes to boy black:-(

I got to say, Art Figures is really making huge improvements on their releases. While they are not HT level I'd say they are quickly closing the gap and if they keep their prices around what they are now they would be very competitive with HT.

Just unboxed mine. Love it. I just hate how with some figures, joints aren't symmetrical tight. I didn't realize that the blades were metal, very nice surprise. I'll have pics up tomorrow morning.

Great figure, but the bridge of his nose is already marked from his goggles. I also don't like the shirt, since he's got all these little fuzzy threads that stick out from it.

Took me forever too, but after a few hours of fiddling with it I finally got it. How's the material on the shirt on yours? Is it fuzzy looking from certain angles?

Thanks! I'm probably going to fill the rest of the shelf of just "badass" film characters. Did you order, or get your Riddick yet?
