Trust me it all comes with many, many years of trial and unfortunately errors. I'd prefer customizing on an 1/6 scale level since there's more room to clean up, but sometimes 1/12 require more of my patience because I try to be a perfectionist to the point I want to tear my hair out :slap

People must have scared Sallah out of here with so much hate towards Bats...
He always shares photos of his new figures and his last post was a reply to me saying he loves the new Bats.
But he hasn't shared photos of Bats, Riddler and Batgirl this time. :(

So much hate? It's ok to be respectfully critical of something if it seems off, which is what I've noticed being said for the most part. Sorry, I love btas as much as the next person but I'm not going to let that put blinders on me either if something doesn't look right to me. You want to make every post of yours saying how perfect you think it is, that's just as fine as someone explaining any issues they might have with it. As long as it's not just blanket "it sucks!" Statements.

They are $20 figures man, it's all right. The fact the we are getting them should be enough.

I get the complaining on the HT $200+ dollies, because paying that much is insane on itself, let alone having to deal with poor QC.

I'll take a defect or two on a $20 figure any day. I just bought the Batmobile, Batman, Joker and Robin for around $140. That's almost $100 less than a Black Widow HT Barbie doll. It feels great.

I think I may just settle on these for a little display as a homage to my childhood :lol

Poison Ivy
Mr Freeze

Maybe Riddler and Penguin. Can't think of any other must haves of characters that were prominent.

Regarding BTAS Scarecrow, which episode would you like for him to be based on, as far as accessories goes?

Not sure what cost has to do with sculpting accuracy. Especially based on designs that have minimal details. The line just had some consistency issues with their sculptor imo from day one. Compare say two face and the recently released riddler. And for that matter there are other figures dcc produces at the same price point with far more detail, but thats not really my point. I love these and after my dcbs order, will end up with four of batman himself. Just saying that there are those of us who won'tsee some of them as flawless is all, no matter how much they cost.

Only thing I've really hated about this line is the wait :p

Got my Bats in yesterday from eBay. I did kind of a dumb thing yesterday morning, I cancelled my preorder for the Batmobile from BBTS and bought it for $98 shipped from eBay... At least I got two day shipping, so I should have him by the end of the week.

Nothing wrong with Ebay if the price is around the same as retail.

I have to figure out when I can get the bat mobile ..damn:thud:

Thanks. Yeah i don't mind ebay at all, i don't have time to go hunting these down at local shops. I got all the other releases from ebay at around the same price as retail. I just couldn't wait for the Batmobile and i wasn't sure when BBTS would get theirs, so i went for it. Glad i did.

BBTS just shipped mine for $97 total (including shipping) so I would say you got the bat mobile for the same price.
