It's pretty shocking how bad this is, I'm a die hard batman fan but this is truly junk.
The detailing is awful, it looks like a hasbro toy. The noise of the motor that spins the blades at a pathetically low speed is atrocious. When would you ever use that?
The overall build quality is so bad considering the other vehicles they have made.
The scales out
& to top it all the price is ridiculous!
Easiest pass ever hot toys

I'm not sure what part of the build quality of the bat is bad?

Especially if you don't have one in hand how can you tell?

It looks as it did in the movie. The only thing they should've done is add weathering. But the Tumbler 1/6 didn't have that either, only camo did.

It DOES look cheap- simplified and poorly detailed- look closely at the cockpit detailing- or lack of.
Junk as far as HT quality- looks like Hasbro in too many areas.
This is a total failure release and I think one of HT's poorest.
Will be a sales dud to say the least.

This is a serious mis step from hot toys. In terms of what they've done, they have taken a massive step backward.
And to make matters worse they have slapped a ridiculous price tag onto it.
It really is that bad

Yeah this doesn't look great for a high end collectible. I like the Nolan Batman films and while I never planned to get this I'd be pretty disappointed if I had it on order. Especially considering how much it costs. It isn't terrible but it doesn't seem like a Hot Toys piece to me.

The problem I see with it is that the Mattel figures looked better than these. It looks too cheap. I'm sure Mattel could produce the same thing and quality at half the price. I am glad that I decided to pass on this despite being a huge DK fan.

They should have just canned the whole project instead of coming out with a 1/12 scale vehicle. It's not in scale with the collections of their customers, it doesn't look that great and the figures are cartoonish, Catwoman especially. If the 1/6 was impossible, then they should have kept it as a show piece.

Dunno how many of these HT produced but I would be upset paying retail for this. Can definitely see this thing hitting the under $500 mark to move. I give them credit for making it, looks like it was just not really well planned for the price point and what is getting delivered.

A $499 price tag would have been perfect, same ballpark as the tumbler.

I think this will make a good display along with the Soap RC Tumbler, and the Mafex Batpod. IMO though, and I've seen them all in person, HT's Bat doesn't look like its asking price especially next to Soap's Tumbler (The Mafex Batpod is really nice for its SRP, btw).

Well I think the majority of us were waiting for a sizable discount before we would even consider it and the one thing with Marvel and DC movies the speed at which the movies are coming out afford us the abilty to preview what figures are yet to come.

I think most of us would rahter save the money and invest in towards the new batmobile whenever they decided to produce that keeping in mind the scale of that beast.

Yes $300 -400 would sell more. They will take a bath on this - the effort put forth is rather weak..might be HT worst release in ages!

My guess is that HT refused to take a loss on the R&D of the 1/6 version, and rolled those costs into the 1/12. That's the only reason I can think of for the ridiculous MSRP on this.

I think this thing looks good. Not worth the price though. My major issue with it is your sixth scale figures look like giants compared to it
