I think we can live without the tacky and heavily photoshopped blogger photos - unless u want two dozen pics of the six inch Catwoman and Batman pair posed dancing and having a picnic on top of The Bat? No, I'll wait for a straight forward unboxing and review.

Lol too funny. I think it would be terrible if they attempted to pose those little figures dancing.

The mind boggles at what poses and actions they edit out of those "comedy" photoshoots...
The real comedy begins when the Hong Kong sellers start parting out this set and we see people pay mad money to have the first 6" Hot Toys figures.

I have The bat on flexpay....two payments left on this beast and its paid for. I'm sure the build of the craft will be great - I am curious about how well the figures will turn out to be. I'm not looking for anything spectacular- they will be nothing more than props for The Bat display anyway but it would be cool if they have some quality to them as stand alones.

Wonder what Hot Toys did with the 1/6 prototypes of The Bat. Do they just store them in warehouse somewhere or does it eventually get onto the black market somehow?

I remember seeing some pictures of it a few years ago of them unboxing it out of large wooden crate container.

Hot toys will have their 1/6 Bat locked away. Consider, since the 1/6 Star Wars cockpit was revealed recently one imagines its not impossible that the same idea (a 1/6 partial section of a large vehicle) could be developed with The Bat. If some people still hunger for their 1/6 scale Nolan figures to occupy that set up. It also goes someway to solving the issue of a full model devouring display space.

I thought budget stark posted an updated release list and it shows its slated for 2016. But when you look on sideshows website it still shows 2015. Hopefully it does come this year

The Length is 29 inches it might fit on top of our detolfs. It might hang off the sides a bit.

I wonder if this thing can fit on top of 2 detolfs.

Isn't the Tumbler wider than a detolf?If so...Judging by this pic,you would need alot of space between the detolfs and the wall.

This is an old picture. The Bat is 1/6 on this and they changed it to 1/12 now as a 1/6 would be way too big and too fragile.

Makes sense as you can see a 1/6 figure can fit in the Bat here,didn't think of that and just assumed the one in the picture was the 1/12

Hope Batman looks good,would be a nice one to get with the Mafex Batpod.
