Take a chance. Mine had no black stains on it. You could get lucky and get one without the stains.

I bought three. None with stains. Two where gifts so I'm not making a spider army or anything.

I don't think the issues are widespread.

Thanks to the members of this site I was able to get this score this figure with the 40% off code someone had posted last week. It showed up today and it did not disappoint. The images online don't do it justice. If you're a Spidey fan and have been looking for a figure I'd recommend picking it up when it is back in stock.
I will be honest, I have not had a chance to mess around with the articulation so I can not comment on what Spidey type poses are possible.

Just got my Spidey and luckily have no issues to speak of. I passed on him originally because I didn't care for the latest movies but Spider-man has always been one of my favorite comic superhero's and this figure nails it.

Great Pics! I felt the same, couldn't care less about the movie but this figure is a PERFECT classic Spidey. Plus I love the accessories they're adorable (yeah that's right, I said it) reminded me of during the gauntlet when he had a cold but still had to Spidey around. Anyway, congrats, great figure.

If you really want him, I'd get him now while he's easy to find. It could be a while before we see another traditional looking Spidey from HT. Especially if they go with a different look for him in Civil War.
