Yeah, I'm not feeling that letter opener at all. Not for a figure at least. As a letter opener or a knick-knack it's neat. Btw, do people really use letter openers? :lol I've seen some cool ones and thought about purchasing one here and there but never once did I see myself going to fish out my trusty letter opener for the mail. :lol

Huh. I'm actually having the exact opposite reaction to the letter-opener vs. exclusive Ice pic. I actually like it more. But I think I'm just a sucker for metal swords with figures. Yes, it's a little chubby, but the 3Z one looks too plastic to my eye. Maybe with a little paint treatment, the letter opener could look even better. (The grip color is a little too warm.)

I work in an office and I use my UC Narsil letter opener every day!

Great pics, by the way!

It didn't look too bad, but still I would have liked to have the exclusive sword.

One of these poses would be too cool on the shelf.

Really? Man, I think the letter opener looks extraordinarily cheap. The handle, pummel, cross guard. Even the metal looks weak. The Ex is not only more accurate but I think it looks way more realistic. Well hey, it's a good thing you like it so much as you passed on the Ex. I hope it all works out for you and enjoy it in hand as much as you do through pics. :) I'm not up in arms over metal swords, but to be honest I'd love to own one of Ice. I'd like to get one custom made by that Full Metal dude who is a member here and on FB. He did one of Longclaw and it looked great. I have a feeling it would be a pretty penny. That dude does amazing work though. Amazing.

That's the amazing thing about this hobby, two people can look at exactly the same thing and see it two completely different ways! :duff

Yeah, I would love a FullMetal Ice, but I don't think I could afford it. He does amazing work ... truly jaw-dropping (did you see the Breaking Bad CAR he built? Bonkers!) ... but he's expensive. I picked up a couple of the 1/6 Jaws barrels from him a couple years back. Expensive but worth every penny.

Mine says acceptance on May 8th. I think I got the email Monday, so who knows. Hopefully Ned just shows up like your Tyrion did. I'm one of those who checks their tracking every day.

Yes! That car truly is a work of art in every respect. That's a phrase that gets thrown around a lot in this hobby but I don't. That thing is art. I've seen plenty of metal works/weapons on this forum throughout the years but nothing compares

Has anyone's tracking in the US changed at all? Mine's still in pre-shipment from China.

It was like that with Tyrion. Hell it's usually like that with all shipments I get from China. There won't be any update until it reaches US shores. I'll probably be on of the last to get mine. I'm on the east coat. They'll land on the west and work eastward.
