Now I'm just hoping that we can interchange the lights between the red and the blue for this guy.

That would be a cool feature.

I asked before (in another thread) but it could just be my small screen or bad photo quality but...the figure we think is the sentry...can u see these pointy ears? I can not. I see it on the artist mix ones and what not. But that figure people think is the sentry, I don't see them. So I was curious if it may be something else.

I think it's there. Hard to see, but it looks more noticeable from its left side. It's tiny as hell though, and this seems to be a running change in the design as well, going by the new trailer promos.

That's possible for sure. So hard to tell from this photo. But the fact I can see them on the few small toys makes me wonder.

That "fixed" red eyes and mouth pic is weird looking. Like he had to much koolaid or lipstick. Lol

That's possible for sure. So hard to tell from this photo. But the fact I can see them on the few small toys makes me wonder.

The smaller toys (Artist Mix and Cosbaby) seems to be closer to the early pics/concepts of the Sentries in terms of design . Going by the new trailers and promos, it seems they've reduced the size of the antennae and made them closer to Ultron Prime in terms of design (that or it's just a "different" Sentry from the earlier ones). Wouldn't surprise me if that's what the HT figure is going by since it looks so small now.

I was just wondering if maybe it's not a sentry but maybe an early version of ultron. Just a question/thought. Not saying that's what it is. Just raisin the possibility

No worries! Indeed, it could be an early version Ultron, heck it could be his form that will serve as the prototype for the Sentries. Only time will tell...

The ears are barely noticeable to begin with if you look at them in the small clips that we have. The Artist Mix are exaggerating them.

The back lines up from this screen cap. You can tell by the spine as well as the shoulder armor. It also looks like the ears curve around the head, rather than just join outwards.

We'll get a good shot at all of these figures tomorrow anyways when the convention opens up.

I still hope for the EW Cover Sentry Ultron. It still looks a bit different to me than the normal drones.

I wouldn't say that the Artist Mix are exaggerating them though. Just look at the pics in the original post, you'll find that the antennae design has changed drastically from the first trailer all the way up to the more recent ones. It looked longer, more angular even, now the antennae are more curved and smaller in design, similar to Ultron Prime.

For all we know, this could be another case of "the trailer lied" (or EW cover?), just like how the Quicksilver-grazing-an-Ultron-Sentry scene was changed into the Quicksilver-grazing-Ultron-Prime scene.

It looked longer, more angular even, now the antennae are more curved and smaller in design, similar to Ultron Prime.

Hmm maybe there's two versions of the drones? The ones that come out of the water still have their long ears in the newest TV spot but the ones during the final battle appear to have the ones that are curved. It's also worth noting that the ones with the curved antennae all have a gun on their right arm. Might be versions where one is more hand to hand combat while the others are ones shooting from afar.

They may wrap around. And it does seem to line up with that cap fight. But that cap fight might be him and early ultron. The robot ain't wearing a name tag.

I think ronri's explination would best describe it, if it is a sentry. That they changed the design up. As I stated before a lot of trailer footage is stuff they never plan on using in the films. Cutting room floor stuff. Not always but often.

It could also be there is more then one generation of sentry/drone. Makes sense given how ultron evolves, he would improve his soldiers.

And this pic shows prett learnt the artist mix are not extreme exaggeration.

I guess anything could change haha. I'm starting to think Ultron won't have the "No Strings on Me" lines in the movie anymore. I think that was strictly for the trailer.. because from the trailers.. I don't think it really fits into the movie .. unless Ultron was watching Pinocchio at some point.
