I see them making a battle worn version for the AoU line. This movies gonna be so huge, every superhero costumed character will get made.

I'd put WM down as a maybe.... I know Avengers sells big but theres so many other figures to make, about 14 or so, and I don't think Rhodey/WM will even get much screen time

maybe like the avengers mark vi version they will rerelease the wm mk ii with a don cheadle head sculpt

Agreed, an AoU battle damaged War Machine, with a headsculpt, might well be a temptation for HT. :panic:

I think they won't release a second war machine if it's the same one that they released for im3. Unless it's exclusive. imo. I sold mine a few weeks ago when my wait list converted for hot rod. Kicking myself for it now. I'll probably try to get another soon before the prices go up crazy. Theres been a little price hike since the last AoU trailer but still can be had under retail atm

Well it would be nice to see war machine actually get to do something so I hope if he dies its a badass scene. He hasn't done much since the end of iron man 2.

I'm being led to believe that WM may be the one to "die" in AOU. I put that in quotes because there is a story arc that came out circa 2008-9 where he was so damaged that he became more machine than man. He eventually got a clone body later, but this could be a slight possibility in the MCU.
I remember getting the die cast WM2.0 purely to sell when the MK XLII finally came out. Now I'm elated that I didn't sell it.

They should have gone back to the Mk1 style...props to Hammer Industries for that design...

Sorry to change the subject, but if they ever make a diecast Mark VI, I really hope it comes with battle damage options like this one does. I still have yet to get myself a Mark VI and I really like those BD features. He'll go well with Iron Whiplash.

Yep. Mk6 had the best swappable BD feature. I'm quite disappointed with the lack that for the Mk42, considering there's so much potential for modular parts.

Nice! A bit of wear and tear, that's what I like to see. I'm glad holding out on the first 2.0 paid off. :yess: The Mark 43 looks nice too, very worn and dirty.

Just saw the new 1:4 & 1:6 scale busts on facebook, they are making a mark 43 of each too..., well repaints of the mark 42 anyway so it was an obvious release really I guess. :)
