Pd:I forget to put the belt XD

Your piece turned out fantastic. However, I'm of the belief that $2000 statues shouldn't need repaints. Congrats though, there's no denying how great your Wolverine LSF looks.

thanks Filip as you said shouldn't have to be repainted for a cost of 2k

well,I can confirm that SS forget the belt in Conejo Spectrum :slap

Odds are SS probably replaced it and he had to destroy the leaning one, I don't think it would break like that if it just fell.

That LSF is from a collector in Thailand I think. He noticed the leaning and one day when he checked again, it's lying broken on the floor.

Hey guys, just wanted to share some pics of a little project i've been working on aided with sculpting skills of a fellow artist of mine in recreating a new look custom alternate Wolverine portrait for the Legendary Scale Figure. Not content with just having the one portrait that Sideshow gave us (when a further 2 more portraits were actually announced early on by Sideshow but unfortunately didn't make it to production) :( I wanted something based on the original head (as I'm a massive fan of the masked look for Wolverine) but give the expression more attitude and generally a more authentic Wolvie look overall...

Anyway, here are a few pics of what we came up with :)

I have loads more pics on my display thread which is on the link below...along with a more extensive description of the project so hope you like the pics :)

THAT LOOKS INCREDIBLE! Always liked my Wolvie in a full rage. The sculptor did a phenomenal job on the head sculpt.

Thanks for the kind words fillip :) Yea, the sculpt came out really well...the painted one you see was also done by the artist to show how cool it looks in colour, however, I've sent mine off to get painted by our very own Dark_Spidey aka Kevin for the awesome paint app it deserves so i'll get those WIP pics as they come in aswell as some final pics with the new painted portrait on the statue :hi5:

is it going to be a one off or would it be possible to get a raw cast? I'd prolly ditch my XM Wolverine and get the LSF if I could get one of those.

Yeah, Kevin's work is top notch. I'm sure it'll look fantastic after he's done with it.
