I must disagree ;) Just had In-n-Out today after a week of trying to hold out... couldn't stand it any longer... and even WITHOUT spread OR ketchup OR cheese, they were the most delicious fries I've had. Maybe that's just 'cuz I was craving them though :lol

But seriously, other places fries scare me. Like McDonalds! Those fries can last like 20 years without decaying. At least at In-n-Out I can tell they are using real potatoes :monkey1

Don't get me started with McDonald's fries! For years they've been serving them without telling anyone that they are flavored with meat and wheat. I'm no prude about meat so that doesn't bother me but telling people they are gluten free when they are not is just criminal. It's hard enough for people with Celiac Disease in this world as it is. I was checking everything I was eating to see what had the hidden gluten that was making me sick. Arg!!

Has anyone here ever had Rally's seasoned fries? OH MY GOD, those things are to die for!!! :rock They are in my top 3 favorite fries, followed by In-N-Out's and Carl's Jr's 'Crisscut fries'. :drool YUM!!

We used to have Rally's here in SA, but they left around 10 years ago. I never was a big fan of seasoned fries, but I liked their burgers.

Never had Rally's where is that at? For just plain fries, Red Robin has some good ones with that seasoning they have. :drool PLUS, they are bottomless while you are there watching a game.

I would go to Red Robin but I am the type of person that likes to really get my money's worth when it comes to all you can eat and I don't need to be eating that many fries, so I avoid that place.:lol:lol:lol

Anybody else here ever had a Ron's hamburger? Their fries are nothing special, but those burgers... man, that's flavor country. :drool

Steak N Shake is great too.

Whats funny is if you leave In-N-Out fries out for a long time they don't do anything either they look they same too. I think there is just something weird about French Fries and they don't decay, mold, etc..

it's gotta be the oil they're fried in. candle wax must be part of the ingredient, oh wait, thats McDonalds :p

I have never understood the fascination with Fatburger, THEY are way overpriced and the service has to be amongst the worst and slowest of all fast food joints.

:emperor

Yeah, they are overpriced, esp in the casinos. it really dosen't take that long, or longer than any other fast food joint during lunch hour. Fresh ground beef needs to be prepared, while frozen patties just needs to be thawed (McDs,Wendy,BK,ect).

I like putting a fried egg on burgers to complete the most unhealthy circle imaginible

There is a burger place at Mandalay Bay Hotel in Vegas. That was amazing. Although the bill for six was nearly $180.00. But worth it figuring half of it was drinks. You can get a burger from $6 to $60 with kobi beef, truffles and foie gras.

Darth Caedus, There's a Rally's in Norwalk CA which is the one I visited on the way to my LCS, the Comic Cult. I liked their fries and burgers too but they're not too high on my list. Use the link posted by Bannister for locations in CA.
For fires, I like Mcd's fries the best too, followed by Carl's Jr's/Hardies.

I'm sorry to hear that, I didn't think it was that big of a deal until I heard this. Food allergies suck!

I've had my good share of In-N-Out when I used to live in Vegas 6 years ago and I do say those are the best burgers to date.

But over here in Georgia, I just can't resist Krystal:

Hell Yes! I had them when I was living in Nashville. Chiks are the best!
Best alternative to White Castle if you don't have any around. Unfortunately around here there's nether. I have to travel to St. Louis for the nearest White Castle. :monkey2

I wish there was a White Castle on the West Coast. Whenever I see the movie, I always want to try one.

WOW, there's one within 25 miles of me in Beverly Hills, I'm going to have to check it out when I'm down there again
