I see Doom PF listed for over 2K (there are two on ebay now BIN/BO) but do they really sell for that price?

There's a box you can click on the left to see sold listings. I see a lot of 2k+ with Best Offer accepted, and other than that there's quite a few that sold in the 1.5k range. And then there's the one that sold for $2.8k...

I see a lot people want to trade their mag to doom, but have not see ppl welling trading doom to mag, I mean I got lots offer with my doom lol.but I'll never give up doom even I really love mag.

Why the hell would anyone trade for a Doom? There are other Dooms that will be made. IN fact, I like the newer SS Doom FARRRRR MORE than the Doom on the throne. I'm glad I passed on the Doom throne. Its closer to a 1/5 scale statue anyways. I was shocked how small it was when I saw it in person. Still a solid statue, but its not end all be all of statues....let alone SS statues.

In fact, I could list quite a few SS statues I think are MUCH BETTER than the Doom on Throne:

1) Gambit
2) Gladiator Hulk
3) Superman PF EX.
4) Thor PF Ex.
5) Captain America PF
6) 1/5 Hulk Comiquette
7) All COTD stuff
8) Ms. Marvel PF Ex.
9) Alien Big Chap
10) Abomination PF Ex.
11) Man-Thing (probably to this day is SS most detailed statue I have ever seen)
12) Spiderman Comiquette 1/4
13) Green Goblin PF

Probably a buttload more statues I would rank above Doom on throne.

Would never trade this for Doom, but would also never rank any of those listed ahead either especially the new pf. That thing is a snoozer, the LSF on the other hand looks stellar.

Loved that PF but due to unforseen reasons a year a go I had to sell it, I was gutted but I needed to raise cash quick & that was the only way unfortunately.

The Spidey Com & Thor was the other 2 personal grails I had to let go of as well. I actually nearly quit this hobby after that as it was so deflatting after all the effort I put in hunting them down.

I think doom is great like mag because he creates a story. The overall piece says a lot and thats rare. I really don't think to many people are that hard core of a doom fan but they are hard core fans of the statue and the feeling it creates. This Magneto is going to b the same way.

Couldn't agree more. It's easy to write off any piece, for Doom it's 'oh he's a dude slumping in a chair big deal'. Applying similar logic would write off the Sistine Chapel 'it's just chubby angel kids all over the place' or Da Vinci's David saying 'it's just a nude dude standing there'. This completely misses the emotion those works convey.

I only see people mention they would trade their EXTRA mag for Doom. Pretty different from the way you are putting it. If I can only have one, it's mag no contest.
