He's going next to my Monger anyway so the shorter height will make Monger even more imposing.

Pretty much every suit aside from the obvious larger ones are always said to be APPROXIMATELY 30cm according to HT specs.

All the figures released up until now aren't even consistently the exact same height unless using the same body like the Mark IV and VI.

There's also the perspective of the photo to consider but whatever, I would wait for a proper side by side to draw comparisons.

As long as the figure is well made & looks good, that's the main thing really & I've no doubt it'll be great or I'd not have preordered it. It is just a curiousity issue for me, that's all. :)

When do they reveal head sculpts... Like, typically how long after proto release pictures?

They usually don't, you usually see pics of the figs at conventions where they have the HS on display. Most recent is StarLord. It was all of a week we had to wait. Others take forever like the first ASM figure.

I totally understand people who want all the Iron Man suits to be a consistent height. On the other hand if they make him shorter he'll be more in scale with the Tony Stark figures won't he?

My Tony Stark figure is still in the box, how much smaller are the figures of him?

If RDJ is indeed about 5-9, he being in an IM suit would put him at about six feet tall, if not slightly taller. That's why HT should release figures that are at least 12 inches tall. I think the comics have the IM suit at closer to 6-6 in height.

Unless they are wanting to show that a suit is bigger, like Igor, Red Snapper, Hulk Buster, etc..., I think they should really be making them all the same size & not changing from figure to figure..., they should've started off smaller otherwise, there are too many suits now to be shrinking them (well that's my thinking anyway).

Seems they botched the display again. The chest plate isn't aligned properly just like the first prototype displays of the Mark VII.

The strange thing is, every other figure in that display was put in a dynamic pose. Mark III diecast was probably last and the guy or gal responsible for setting up was probably called upon to work some other part of the show.

Still, doesn't it fuel your imagination of all the possible poses you could put him in (without ab crunch that is haha)

Oh so many figures... Being on this forum is like a drug hahaha
