THe HT color looks better than SS LSF :slap

Yep.

Let's help Sideshow's painters out:

Aside from the base, the arc reactor and the missing black line between his eyes, I think it's a stellar piece.
Thanks for the pics.
I'll be keeping mine.

Crud! Mine got delayed till the 15th!

Come on SS, gimme my IM fix!

Although its a good thing, my hall of armor box is being built for this guy

I think it looks decent with the lights on...then you turn them off and that ridiculous blue paint on the arc reactor is just staring you in the face...ugh. Sorry, I need to stop being a debbie downer:wave Congrats JRodri2540, glad you're happy with him! That's all that matters.

Still not convinced. The foto by Cowboy Tsunami, where HT and SS was held side by side, show how much better looking the HT paint app was, plus it had the arc reactor detail too. :horror

Those are great pics, but the suit looks like plastic, the helmet especially, and nothing like the brushed metal proto.

Congrats Rhodri on your latest addition buddy :clap so delighted that your going to keep yours and that your, for the most part, pretty happy with it :) Very good pics too :hi5:

Not sure I agree with those saying 'I told you not to go by the first pics and that it looks great now' line...I think it was evident from the start that some liked this piece and some didn't. Great pics as these are, I actually see no difference from what we already saw in the first set of inhand pics that we received a few days ago :dunno I still think those who liked it a few days ago still like it, and those who didn't like it still dont :)

As I mentioned from those first inhand pics, this LSF pretty much sums up was what I was expecting from Sideshow. The non metallic faceplate and gold parts were predictable and the paint apps seem to be good. I remember the MKIII LSF getting ridiculed in very much the same way as this MKVII LSF is getting now but I have to say that in my opinion, the MKIII is still one of the most definitive Iron Man collectibles released to date and am so happy to have it in my collection.

The only major flaw I see with the MKVII is the base and that terrible blue crap around the Arc Reactor :( i'll be fixing that right away once mine arrives aswell as on my lifesize bust too if I decide to keep hold of it! :lecture With that said, i'm still looking forward to getting this (provided Sideshow make the head and torso the same colour of red unlike my lifesize bust!) :slap :lol :lol

Looks real nice in JRodris pictures, I still wouldn't buy it at that price point (half maybe) but people waiting on this, or thinking of buying it may have cause to relax a little now...

I do much prefer the simple Iron slab bases as an outsider looking in though, the simple base allows all of the focus to the main man and still looks classy. I wonder if SS will go back to these for future LSFs in the line/
