I'm tempted to cancel BC bust after seeing this. Absolutely horrible teeth, nothing like what was pictured, and hollow to boot. Seems like a cheap rip off. I think Collectorcol put it best when he called it a 1:2 piggy bank.

I'm not happy but once on the Besta it won't matter. Looking forward to mine.
A sold LSB makes it feel better quality and you feel like you got more for your money.

I don't know. The size doesn't bother me really, when I visualize it being a full statue and not a bust, it looks about 1/2 scale to me. But I'm not measuring here or anything.

I also don't own any life size busts, so take that into consideration.

All I want to say is that it doesn't justifies its cost for its size (and for all the other flaws I read here).
Especially if you have the maquette like in the photo here the size differences are not that big.

Also 1:1 Warrior Bust $999...1:2 Warrior Bust $360 sort of puts your value/scale argument to rest.

You cant really make comparisons between a 1:2 Bust and a 1:4 Full Statue with large base.

Actually alot of the posters are correct... Its not half scale.. its actually taller and wider than needs be. The measurements are seriously almost spot on. You need to understand how much bigger this piece would actually be if doubled. Alot of members on the board have never seen the 1/1 in person.... I for one have ( not tooting my iwn horn because its not mine but a friends ) and im sure if someone posted them next to one another than it would become clear that it really is a 1/2 scale bust. As far as being hollow that kinda sux but when its on a shelf you dont know and to be honest since its light weight that means you can put more statues with it without fear of breaking a shelf hahaha. Im still not happy with the teeth. But this is sideshow were dealing with. Of course they werent going to chrome the teeth... But if i recall a ss rep said they were considering it... And that the big chaps teeth will be chromed. In all honesty a tiny brush some tape and a testors bottle of paint will fix it.

I knew it was small, but those comparisons make it look tiny. Definitely seems overpriced, but that's nothing new.

We shouldn't have to finish the work on the statues we buy from sideshow, either.

A birds eye shot of the Bust facing the Maquette would probably show how they scale up better. Length and width but looking at those shots it looks half scale to me.

Those photos actually make me feel a lot better about the size. The photo posted of it in front of the Predalien concept Maq had me worried.

Overall I think it turned out awesome and cant wait to get mine.

I'm curious as to how the shipping notice/confirmation plays out for contest winners. I won the Predator Masked Hunter LSB a while ago, and it doesn't release until April 2015. Despite getting an email when I won saying that they would contact me close to the ship date, I am a tad bit skeptical on how smoothly that works for contest winners. Hope we don't get forgotten!

So probably this amount of time after the initial PMH:LSB release.

Reviewing the pics again, I do not like how the tendons around the mouth appear to be tacked on. At least in the proto / website pics they look like the flow with the piece better. Hard to say that difference is all lighting. Teeth are easy to get over and with a simple repaint.
But, as with most pieces, I will probably like it more in hand. Whole point of the statue is to have it in a 3D form. If pics were perfect, why not just print them out and hang them on my wall?

Collectorcol if you think about it, 1:1 is twice the length and twice the width. That makes us four little busts to equalize the bulk/mass. So no, it's not a good deal!

The length of the maquette head at the first photo is 1.5:2 not 1:2. If no-one can see this i rest my case...

I doubt very much that he has ordered it.

Looks a good size to me, bigger than I expected reading the figures...

This it's not a right angle and you know it but..oh look, now it got bigger than the predator too!congrats!

I haven't ordered it yet.Right now I'm waiting engineer and big chap lsb. Sometime later I will, but that doesn't change the fact that SS this time made fool on us. At least on me..
