I have no doubt they will, but I expect it will not appeal to as many fans so it should not have that big an impact.

Well Joker they undershot on the ES, that is why he has gone up more than the others. I tend to think the value of Supes, Bats, WW will be suppressed with the availability of the Reg (many times for under retail). But nobody should be buying into those characters with that ES with the idea in mind they will do better than break even down the road.

Ivy seemed to do ok on the secondary market too. How will the varient fare? Depends how it turns out.

Batman Reg PF has been in stock forever. If it were really true that so many people wanted him, his PF would have sold out like the Spidey J Scott Campbell Comm long ago (the spidey piece looks great). I believe if Batman PF quality would have turned out better in terms of facial paint and fabric fit, Sideshow would have sold many many more of him. One thing I know is they wont let that poor QC happen again on such a large ES. Supes turned out great thank goodness

In terms of LOTR, none of the LOTR stuff with an ES of 9500 EVER went up in value. Sorry. Sad but true. Check ebay sold listings for proof.

Help me out here, what Sideshow Premium Format Lord of the Rings statue has an ES of 9.500? Bit unfair to compare DC PF's to old 1/6 pieces IMO. Nevertheless, the Lord of the Rings PF prices are a bit lower than their all time high (I remember Berserker EX & Lurtz EX passing $1.000,- easily), but show me where I can buy them all for retail.

He means the SS/Weta stuff with the crazy ESs from years ago during the LOTR high point. Many of the PFs are up there in value also, but none of theirs are over 1500 ES or so.

I don't think so. The original Ivy reg. had the same ES and it didn't take time to sell out.

Green is kind of exclusive in its own right and I think it will sell out sooner than later.

Wow I was really hoping the ES would be 750 or less. But whatever I bought this already since price was fair. Then the coupon was the reason I went for it. Not a bad deal. I'm sure I will like this in the end.
