Does anyone know if the heads are removable on these two? If so it would be awesome to get both and swap them out. Or at least have options for the better head (gladiator)

Nice dude. I just want to see the pics of these two together as I think they would look so damn cool. I went with Gladiator Hulk. My most anticipated of the year Geno. I can't wait for that bad boy to ship

My Most anticipated too! Can't wait! Hopefully we see pics this month! :D

I pre-orderd (dun dun daaaaahhhhh) Firstly, I do feel GHulk is the more popular piece, but KHulk will be the most rare. ALso, I like the color scheme and more visible sculpture elements. Lastly, the axe is badass and let's face it, is any Hulk statue of this size with weaponry and a badass sculpt ever going to NOT be popular. Any way you slice it, these are future grails (and I didn't even mention the Olivetti inspired sculpts).

*I also want to note that many go about this piece all wrong, it is not in competition with GHulk, it is an entirely different vibe, color scheme, sculpt and energy. Hulk as a gladiator was a brainwashed brute, savage, dirty, following orders, fighting to survive. Hulk AS A KING has a clean, more regal confidence, still pissed, but a king back on Sakaar. Those calling it a 'tiara' on his head are fools this is clearly a regal crown. Plus, when has any sideshow exclusive Hulk not skyrocketed in price after release?

thanks collectorcol....good luck with....believing crowns to be tiaras. And would you rather they not follow the comic source material?, because I'm pretty sure he wore your "tiara" in WWH.

For some reason when I look at this statue I see this

falling-skies.jpg

Which kind of ruins it for me. Otherwise I like it. Since I have GH on PO I wouldn't buy it anyway since it is too similar.

I don't care for how his head and neck look. Just my opinion, no offense. Its like either his head is too small or neck is too big, it just doesn't look good to me.

Hulk was not Brainwashed.... He did have an obedience disc on but it did not brainwash.... It would force him to do things against his will.... but he was always aware and very angry about it.... If he was brainwashed he would have gladly done the tasks he was forced to do. After the disc was destroyed by the Silver Surfer he no longer had to follow orders.

PS.... Calling people fools for their opinions is sort of.... well.... foolish.

PSS - You stole Shai's photo for you sig

I am down for both. I just wish this one was looking the other way. It would have made for a better display.

Personally I wish he did not have any weapons in his hands... I don't know what you would do with the right hand (put a light post in it or something) but WWH was so powerful there was no need for weapons... He never used them in the comic. The only reason GH used weapons is because he was in a weakened state.. As the story went on he go his strength back and the weapons started to be used less. By the time he was heading back to earth he only used it to point the way. Even if the sword stayed and the left hand had a "no weapon" option I think I would get into this piece more "character" wise.

Spidey976 is right..... Hulk is my collecting Kryptonite.

But as is, it does not feel WWH enough to me. It's nice and has grown on me a bit but the similar sculpt, lack of comic story accuracy, and more then anything the price, keep this piece out of my reach as an unjustifiable purchase. Man I wish SSC just gave us an EX GH with switch out parts :(

If they had I could hear the screaming and nerd rage about Seams from here.

Oh ok that makes sense now. I didn't mean no offence I just didn't get the connection with the picture at first look.
