I love Die Hard With A Vengence almost as much as Die Hard 1, but the rest of the films in the series you'd have to pay me to watch again, LW on the other hand, I can watch every movie in that franchise multiple times a month and not get tired of it.

I never quite liked DHWV much, felt a little tasteless to me. DH2 is watchable, but very forgettable. All the LW sequels definitely are rewatchable.

These 2 would rank somewhere in my top 10 films. I've watched each multiple times. I have to give the edge to Lethal Weapon though because of the Martin Riggs character being such a bad ass.

1987 was a good year ...my top 5 that year was LW, Predator, Lost Boys, A Prayer for the Dying, and Best Seller...I was still single too!:clap:clap:wink1::wink1::):wave:wave

I never use that expression....I would wish a lot on my worst enemy...LOL...thats a fact

Both are great films... But Die Hard is the easy pick for me. LW is the better series. I like them all even though 3 is weak. LFODH is the only enjoyable Die Hard other then the original for me. DH3 is OK.... 2 is bad but better then 5.

Haven't seen Die Hard 5 and I've been told not to bother. But Die Hard 4 McClane can seemingly survive anything. So that McClane would possibly outlast Martin Riggs in a fight.

Meh, he's just a slugger.

Riggs was just pretending (but Mel wasn't).

McClane would cook him and eat him. And if it was the crappy modern day McClane, hell, Riggs wouldn't stand a chance. That McClane is nigh invincible surviving massive jet plane blasts and chernobyl itself.

EDIT:

**** you a-dev.
