This isnt the first time a transformer had a beard but it is rather odd that a transformer would have a cigar. What would he get out of that at all? Where can he even find a big enough cigar for his mouth?

Why does that Transformer have a beard and cigar in it's mouth? :slap

Don't mean to sound like a hater but Man does this look exactly the same as every other bay movies. I like hot women but why must they always be super-tanned and sweaty :dunno

Can Bumblebee still not talk?

Is Grimlock Optimus' pet? I don't think I've seen him in robot-mode or talk

I'm not extremely knowledgeable about Transformers, so who is the 'Big Bad' in this movie?

I like it looks like every other Transformers movie, but I enjoyed those, so definitely will be seeing this.

Looks like a giant ride at a theme park again. That's fine with me as that's what the other films have been and I've enjoyed them.

This article pretty much sums up what I was saying earlier and how I feel about this franchise...

This quote...

First of all, the very people complaining loudest about how much they hate Michael Bay or loathe the Transformers films will likely be first in line at that Thursday night IMAX screening come June 26th. Just as the people most up in arms about Ben Affleck playing Batman will be among the first to see Batman Vs. Superman. The “nerds” complain the loudest, but they will show up to geek-friendly movies no matter what.

Is so damn true

it's breakdown, he's the transformers who's face turns into a canon.

This is him in his last show appearance which was transformers prime. He's never been a big bad before, never lead a faction.

Interesting. Never heard of him before. What's his agenda in TF: Prime? Take over the world or just take out Optimus?

It's not Breakdown. It's Lockdown, a character that originated from the Animated series, voiced by Lance Henriksen (though not in the movie unfortunately). Intergalactic bounty hunter who does jobs for both sides and keeps trophies of each bounty. Working for 'someone' in this trailer. He's joined by a human villain, played by Kelsey Grammer who is the CEO of the company that makes the human TFs, and Galvatron, who may or may not be a rebuild Megatron.

Surprisingly, the movie version is a pretty faithful design as well. If he was voiced by Lance again I might have cared.

I do think they made a large stride with this soft reboot.

No more Shia and that goofy spy ****. Marky Mark and Stanley Tucci, hell yes. :yess:

The robots look much better imo. The deal wielding bot with the parachute, the one that turns into a mega cannon (which I originally believed was Galvatron) etc... I do think they overdid Grimlok, but at least it looks like if anything they're erring in a safe way and making Dino bots big bad mofos, at least they're not making them decepticon speedbumps.

Yeah, it's going to be Bay-schlock, aimed at a Ritalin generation, but maybe the support cast won't make these as unbarable as some of the others. Glass is half full at this point.

opps my bad, he's right, it is lockdown, I get them confused some times lol I never watched animated which is why my mind probably went straight to breakdown and not lockdown.

Tucci is the only reason i'm interested in this :lol

If human made transformers imagine how awesome that would be. Im talking mass hype on pokemon type levels. Nobody would ever touch a toy again, they'd just play with there transformer all day everyday (wow that sounded dirty)
