Definitely no. All the ghost hunter shows are utter *********. All stories of ghosts I've heard, not one has tried to not be creepy and just came out and said "I'm a ghost, tell so and so I love them for me." It's always spooky ****, if I was a ghost all I would want to do is get a message to those I left behind that I'm okay.

I decided to tap back one day with a fun beat of my own, and whatever it was decided to tap back to me in the same beat. We would also hear footsteps and creaking on the wooden floors at night. It sounded as if someone was walking around barefoot. The activities started to escalate, and something grotesque did manifest itself later on. However, I was the only one who actually saw it.

Whoa! That so mysterious. How grotesque was it?

Some of that could be a sleeping condition--people being not quite asleep and not quite awake where they see dark figures around them.

Sleep paralysis. I know cuz I have it and it ****ing sucks.

Yeah. Somehow when it involves kids, the creepiness increases tenfold

This is another absolutely fascinating subject I enjoy... whether or not life exists outside of our planet.

Imagine being in a country where they don't speak your language. They REALLY want to tell you something but you don't understand. I imagine once they got extremely frustrated and angry enough they'd be knocking metal things together and throwing things too.

what was it? I would really like for you guys to share these stories

My experience wasn't as physical and as easy to explain as some of the others posted but it's something I'll never forget and it freaked me out beyond belief. I was sat in at around 3am after a late night watching a movie with a friend as mentioned. Earlier that night we had been bored out of our minds browsing the web for real exorcism's, don't ask me why. Anyway we ended up finding a video ( I wouldn't have a clue where you would find it or which it was now ) of a young girl that was supposedly being exorcised and she was chanting in what sounded like Latin. Anyway we eventually got bored and were never particularly creeped out by anyway of this more intrigued. We were watching these videos probably about 8-9pm.

Anyway around 12:30 to 1:00am we put on a movie, it was Limitless actually, the Bradley Cooper movie. It finished around 2:50 because I remember sitting up from the couch and pulling the laptop towards and checking the time, probably have a quick browse on here as well for a last minute fix. My friend had gone to the toilet and we had every intention of going to sleep at this point, we were both quite tired and it's worth mentioning at this point we weren't thinking or talking about anything remotely ghostly or "freaky" for hours and were both just really tired.

This is where it gets freaky. In my front room there is a quite large window which given the time was covered by the curtains and I had no visibility at all of the window itself, I was sat literally two foot away from the window and I kid you not I heard what sounded like a demon take an extremely deep breath outwards. I've had friends speaking to me through this window and you can barely hear them when they're open. The windows were completely shut and this breathing sounded like it was next to me, it was incredibly loud. My heart literally sank and I stood up and stared at the curtains knowing that the sound resonated from the window behind them. I waited and sure enough the deep breath outwards happened again. I stumbled backwards because this breathing wasn't as if someone or something was out of breath or having trouble breathing, this was the type of noise someone would make when intentionally trying to scare someone. That breathing sound somebody would make in a Halloween mask trying to scare somebody but 100x deeper. I know for a fact it wasn't a person due to how deep and loud it was and if this was an animal it would be a first in the UK because it would have had to have been a Lion on super steroids stood on it's hind legs.

I bucked up the courage and crept a little closer to the window and the breathing sound came again, this time because I was so close to the curtain I realised the sound sounded as if it wasn't outside the window but actually behind the curtain on the window sill but that didn't make sense because the breathing was above me, again this made me realise this wasn't a person because if it was they would have been around 8 foot tall based on where it was coming from. At this point I think I almost actually &^*% myself and literally ran back towards the living room door shouting my friend to come to the front room quick.

My friend had just come out of the bathroom at this point and walked, looking concerned to see me looking the way I did and asked what was wrong. I told her to be quiet and there was a dead silence, the breathing came again and she looked at me in scared shock. Now at this point we just listened and stared at where the sound was coming from and it carried on for a good five minutes before I debated opening the curtain which my friend was quietly going crazy about telling me to not do it.

I did my best to ignore my fear and walked towards the curtain grabbing it with one hand expecting to literally die any minute, killed by whatever was on the other side.

I ripped the curtain back and I could see the window outside was completely steamed with breathing marks that were huge as if a giant had been stood there and this is the part that most find completely unbelievable but I'll stand by it forever. The breathing happened again with nobody there and me and my friend watched as the steam refilled the window. At this point I'd like to say I picked up a knife and jumped out the window but to be fair I most likely screamed like a girl and ran into the other room.

We peered from the edge of the door and it happened again, the steam filling the window with every breath with literally nothing stood at the window. The breath was so obvious and the breathing so deep and loud that if you had you eyes closed you'd think a bear was stood next to you.

My friend phoned the police on here mobile and explain the situation and they said they would send some officers ( who never arrived ) and then a few minutes later it stopped and there was just silence. It had gone on at this point for around 20 minutes and after half an hour we decided to have a look together near the window, we couldn't see anything again and the breathing had stopped, the breath marks still slightly visible. After another ten minutes or so I opened the window with the key needed and slowly dipped my head out to take a look, still at this point, terrified of what might be out there. Curiosity killed the cat and all of that.

I looked around outside squinting my eyes in the dark, we have a lot of trees and greenery outside of this window so at night it's literally like staring into the woods and then to the left of me in the distance and dark of the night I heard the breathing again slipping away into the darkness. I slammed the window shut and we stayed awake until daylight eventually getting a few hours sleep.

It's hard to explain the experience, you could say it was this and that but the size, the blatant obviousness that it wasn't human and the deathly sound that was clearly intentionally meant to frighten us was unreal. Something for that half an hour or so in total felt demonic in a sense, time stood still and something was there with us, watching up and messing with us.

It was only later we realised we had been playing apparent Demonic, Latin chants all night but who knows if that was related!

Before this experience as much as I liked horror movies and so on I never believed in anything like that, I've always been a science guy wanting proof to back everything up. I don't know what I experienced but some type of demonic, ghostly activity is the closest thing I can relate it to.

It's partly the reason for why I don't believe in human ghosts. Mostly speaking from my own religious background, every person who is alive, already has a place prepared for them in the afterlife. So, it's not like you'll just linger on Earth aimlessly for whatever reason after death. I did experience some freaky paranormal things back in my younger days, though.

You didn't have a camera phone at hand then?

I thought about this afterwards and honestly I think when something like that genuinely happens the last thing you think about is recording it ( me at least anyway ). It's just not something that crossed my mind when I was thinking something was about ready to smash through the window.

I'm not saying it was a ghost or a demon but there's literally nothing I can think of that might have been able to make a similar sound ( especially considering where I live ) and when I seen that there was literally nothing in front of me making the noise I didn't know how else to make much sense of it. It opened my mind up to say the least.

I've had quite a few run in's with Ghost's and the weirdest for me isn't Shadow People, it's what you can't see. A few times I've heard my name being called by what I think is my mother I'll go to said room and no one is there. My family used to live on a very haunted Ranch. I've seen a full Apparition twice.

Oh... man. This has happened to me on occasion. The last time was a few months ago, when I heard my mom's voice call out my name clear as day in my apartment. But, I'm not sure if it was just my subconscious playing a trick on me or something else. It has never been accompanied by a full apparition.

There are Way too many recordings like that to be all fake or that someone was near the building. That is the one that I always wonder the most about
