Amazing, just amazing.

Deja vu of 2012, great team effort and well deserved.
Let's hope we can carry this form into the league.

Im sure they will get through. PSG's lack of recent experience in this stage will be their undoing. Like what happened to Man City.
The semis qualified teams IMO will be Chelsea, Real Madrid, Atletico, Manchester United.

Dont say why, But I know Barca and Bayern very well. And ven if I go wrong about Bayern, Im sure Barca will NOT be able to make it to the semis.

Well your got the 1st 2 right. The next 2 are tomorrow, I hope you put a few quid down on your predictions :)

I actually fancy Bayern to knock Utd out. I still fancy Barca to beat Athletico as well if I'm honest. How do Chelsea keep doing it in this competition though? They'll probably win it :lol

No I actually think Real will win it unfortunately. I hope they don't though anyone but them :/

Ive seen these competitions too long plus sadly I have followed both barca and Bayern for a long long time. I know exactly how their temperament is. The reason I feel Barca will lose are
1. The away goal they conceded
2. The defence is now manned by the unreliable Javier Mascherano who is NOT a centre back and due to injuries to Pique and Puyol, the absolutely inexperienced Marc Bartra who is not even close to be called physically imposing. He is the typical lanky thin Barca player with good passing and fluid transition from the back. Plus the lack of regular goalkeeper Valdes to the once amazing but now absolutely crazy and unreliable Jose Manuel Pinto
3. Atletico have one of THE strongest defences in the world right now. This is one of the few times I have seen La Liga being led by a team dependent on a tight defence and grinding out a result.
4. Barca will HAVE to score, hence they will go all out... leave holes at the back for the counter attack. Concede. Game Over

As for why I think Bayern too stand to lose though less because of them scoring the away goal
1. This is a different bayern to last season under Jupp. Last season under Jupp Bayern played in typical brutish German fashion. They didnt create too many chances and relied on set pieces and long balls and goal mouth skirmishes to get them their goals. And once they got a goal. It was lock down. With lahm commandeering the Defence and Dante in top form not to mention The Beast Neuer at goal - made it impregnable.
This new Bayern under Guardiola creates more chances because of their passing game but also inherits the same weakness of leaving space at the back

2. If you follow the Bundesliga you will see Bayern have a tough time scoring against teams who go total lockdown/park the bus. Guardiola's trump card in that situation with barcelona was Leo Messi playing in the middle instead of the wing. With him being able to beat 2/3 players on the run it used to put the lockdown defences in disarray and allow Pedro/Villa etc etc to exploit that space. Guardiola's Bayern DO NOT have a natural dribble with that ability. Hence you will see lots of possession, but no clear chance on goal, unless they resort to shooting from the distance

ManU if they play Chicarito, Valencia (the faster players) will have a great chance. Because Bayern are like their predecessor in style Barcelona now vulnerable to counter attacks. Something it wasnt in Jupp's time as Jupp never involved more than 4 players of his team in attack. In Guardiola he tends to even use Neuer to move up as a second sweeper akin to Victor Valdes

Hence my predictions.

Well done Athletico, they were awesome tonight. They actually impressed me the most out of all the teams in the 1/4 finals. Should of been 3 or 4 up within the 1st 20 mins

United lost, but that was expected.

The real kick in the teeth for their fans is that they stayed in the tie for a lot longer than anyone expected.

Holding their own against the best team in Europe for 3 quarters of the tie might just be enough to ensure Moyes gets another season.

this year, the 4 best managers made it to the semis, would have loved Klopp instead of CA,

For the Champions League i Predicted Real Madrid vs Chelsea's Mourinho ..
and Barcelona vs Guardiola's Bayern ..

Barcelona being knocked out was unexpected .. Atletico was the Better team overall

I predicted right... Yes I said ManU have a goodchance, but I didnt completely rule out Bayern. Now honestly Id like to see a semis of Chelsea-Atletico and Real-Bayern. But I know that since Figo is in charge of the draw and that guy is always lucky for Real. He will probably get a Real-Atletico and Chelsea-Bayern Semi draw.

i hope chelsea dont have to face A Madrid, they will be without Courtois. think it would be unfair on the player to miss out

Wtf was Moyes thinking using Rooney in such a defensive role!?

I gotta favor Bayern moving forward, just so deep with talent.

Apparently Chamberlain, Rosicky and Gibbs are very doubtful for Saturday. I feel the excuses are being lined up already :(

Ozil and Koscielny are definitely out as well.

Ramsey returns but I fear it won't be good enough. This game is by no means a dead cert victory for Arsenal.

If we do lose it, I want to see AW resign straight after.

I definitely want him to walk at the end of the season, but if we should lose on Saturday, I want him to resign then.
