LOL, he went through a good amount of the movie without the armored sleeves compared to Avengers. But business is business, and while these guys are artists, it comes down to what's best for business in the end, and that means more figures to sell since people will just buy it up.

I'm getting just the armored version for now. Not sure if I'll cancel and wait for Thor 3 or not though.

Haha it's all good. He began with the armor when he enters the first battle. But in Asgard, he was mostly sleeveless. Had the cloak on a lot as well so that probably hid it for you. He also appears sleeveless when he helps Loki escape all the way to the Dark World, and then gets in on again for the rest of the film after Loki's trick. I think the black cloak from the regular version should go with the sleeveless than the armored, and the armored should've had the base with the broken ground since it's more of a battle look, when he has his armor on.

Watched TDW last night. Really enjoyed it. Can't wait for this figure now.

I have both the normal and exclusive on order. Doubt i'll get both. Prefer the normal edition by far but the Ex will be the tough one to get in future, it's already on waitlist. Did he even use the Ex costume in TDW without the armored arms? Really cheap of HT to make people buy 2 just for different arms and a base. Should have made it a bit more expensive and included switch out arms and the base.

Which one are you guys getting?

I've got both on order, but I'll probably just keep the sleeveless, because its so different from all the other Thor's so far. I wish they had a different expression or something, I like the headsculpt but I really don't want to identical faces on my self so I am less inclined to own both.

Saw The Dark World one last time again this morning (It's still showing on one screen here in San Diego). SUCH a damn good movie.

And can I say one last time how much I LOVED how they handled Loki in this movie? Absolute perfection, IMO.

Just bought this movie on iTunes as part of an early release and can't wait for this figure to come out... watching the movie makes it harder to wait for the figure.

I PO light armor version only, but I'm disappointed TDW Loki preview didn't turn out too well--was hoping to display them both together for context. :/

Pretty funny that they are actually having an "opening" in Hollywood for the Trevor short, and having contests to win a trip to LA to see it in person.

And then they release the digital copy of the movie with the short beforehand, and it ends up on the internet. So much for a Hollywood opening. LOL
