Waiting to hear back about mine. Came with a nice chip in her foot, and a pretty sizable gap between her left hand and thigh. Sent my form in Saturday, how long do you guys usually wait before following up if they haven't gotten back to you?

And for that matter I've got a flex payment that should've come out on the 5th but was never charged. Got the hold on my card, but it never actually went through. Figure I'll give it a couple of days and get in touch with them regarding both.

Hmm interesting, after being offered to be sent a replacement, Sideshow wants me to destroy my original statue and send evidence before they ship the new one out. Is this the normal policy? I'm relatively new to the hobby and this is the first time I've asked for a replacement so I'm not sure.

I've heard of others who were asked to destroy their original and provide evidence of it's destruction after receiving the replacement. This makes more sense to me since there's always the potential of the replacement arriving broken. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm both new and curious.

I am kind of busting at the seams for room currently and was wondering if dust is something to be concerned about if I display her outside of an enclosed case? I know a little dust is inevitable, but wanted to make sure. Thanks for any advice.

I've never had a problem & I've been collecting for quite along time now. Just dust them occasionally, it's sunlight & people touching are the things to worry about IMO

Just received mine today... Ummm WOW!!! If the paint apps turn out this good on Spidey, then it will give the original comiquette much competition.

MJ turned out fantastic. The box is sooooo small but the statue itself is bigger in person then one might think... Very classy looking piece.

Oh and my first female statue.... Now bring on Catwoman.

Here is my MJ comi,actually SSC Steve did very good job on sculpture and the new painting technique truly made the body more shady.
However the texture of the statue is still not as good as the one released far ago,especially yet the part of the painting without using new technique looks low quality.And what has been annoying me most is the little bubbles on the surface.
Up to now obviously SSC still can not make each piece has a same quality even the price rising stably.
So I think SSC should make more effort to changing.
