Got my replacement heads in the mail today. The unmasked sculpt is great, but there's still a little problem with the Mask sculpt. His black cheek has a grey circle on it (looks like the black is a top coat and it came off).

I'd prefer not to have to complain to USH to contact SS again on my behalf. Does anyone know what type of paint I could use to fix it? Or is it possible to cobble together a perfect head from my broken tusk original and the replacement?

i never got bananas with mine :(

That's just my opinion. Buffoon is about right for me. I think I described him once as a cackling, twirling buffoon. They made him into a joke. It was very.. .disappointing. The whole time he's dueling with Yoda he's hamming it up to the nth degree with that cackle. In ROTJ he was genuinely frightening. I LOVE ROTJ Emp. But hey man, if you dig PT Palpy then that's cool too. :)

Yeah as I say the Emperor in ROTJ is where it is at in regards to the best representation of him on-screen but I did really enjoy him in the PT. But hey we all have different opinions my friend. :duff

Palps in ROTS was all about being drunk on power and out of the closet. That is how I took it anyway. After waiting in the shadows he was as giddy as a 16 year old on her birthday.

tee hee

Well put buddy. :clap

Awesome pics pal. Lord Vader is looking awesome.

Can someone start a thread to discuss possible directors and directions for new movies so we can get back to discussing this figure and posting pics of figure again. Somehow, we have gotten off course.

:lol Your choices:

a) post a pic/discuss the figure to move things in the direction you'd like the thread to go
b) start that suggested new thread
c) wait for others to do it (not likely)
d) chill out bro

I absolutely love it, I love the extra helmet with the display stand as well.

As for Abrams directing I'm totally on board with that, I liked both his Star Trek films and Lost is one of my favorite TV shows of all time.

Hey all,

Just a little request - I know there are definitely a few dotted throughout the thread already, but if people could either link to or post shots of their Vaders next to their Sideshow ESB Boba Fetts (both on and off stands) then I'd be very grateful! Was thinking about picking up a Vader a little while ago, but was put off by potential scale issues as Boba is my only other Star Wars figure, so it'd make sense to put them together.

I know Boba is supposed to be on the shorter side and Vader on the taller, but there's no point putting them next to each other if it's going to look like a giant and a dwarf! :wink1:
