Hey Col, I like the new Sig! Did you order Big Chap LS? I regret not buying the statue, so I'll probably get the LS... The maquette was sweet, too, but $800 was too rich for my blood...

As for coupon codes, even if nobody reports a March code, I suspect there will be a code on St. Patrick's Day. I'll be shocked if there isn't!

It's up tomorrow, I will be ordering but not 'til the ES is announced.
With Sideshows new TBD policy ordering straight away only makes for a higher ES.

I'm not even a big Alien fan, Preds my poison, but that thing looks awesome and will sit well with P1 & P2 LSBs.

I will be using the 3,000 points I got, mainly through this thread, on this beast.

Hope you get one, $400 seems a decent price.

I honestly have no idea what the difference is (at Sideshow). It's 1:4 scale like a PF, but they don't call it a PF. I know what a Gentle Giant maquette is, but Sideshow's are very different. Check it out: https://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/product-archive/?sku=400063

I have no idea if this correct or not but on another forum someone said that Maquettes are based off movies,
Premium Formats is anything 1:4 scale, mixed media or fully sculpt,
Comiquettes are based off comics.

Galactus is a Maquette and the only galactus that was in a movie was a giant ball of stupid black clouds. Also, there are terminator PFs. PFs seem to be 1/4 scale. Legendary scale is 1:2 I think. Maquettes seem to be stuff that doesn't have a distinct scale.

Well this is the million dollar question really isn't it. Generally a maquette is a small scale model used to visualise something, the kind of thing they would make of a suit design from a movie before they work on the real thing for example. SS use the term to add a few hundred dollars to the price as far as I can see.

Sauron 1/4 Premium format, 36" high, 67lbs, awesome in almost every way... $899

Predator 2 1/4 Maquette, mixed media like any other PF, 28.5" high, 20lbs, £1199.99

yeah I think its the only one that has a higher shipping rate outside of the big ones like batman armory, almost everything else is $10.
