Sorry, it won't happen.

The Studio (MGM) does not have access to Peter Weller likeness.

Hot Toys made an exclusive deal with Weller directly so no one else can use his face.

So Enterbay went with John Burke

Sold the Maquette and don't think I will be getting any of these.

Ya man, no problem. They had the battle damaged "coming soon" thingy inside the glass where the 1/6 Robo and ED were at SDCC '13. It's gotta be a BD from Robo 1, I hope.

I hear getting Weller's likeness is a complete biaatch. Kudos to HT.

The only thing I'm worried about with this statue is how much Jerry is trying to hype it. It gives me flashbacks already of the ARH Conan fiasco. When you've got someone saying how no one else has done it right and how they're making sure it is going to perfect and such, I can only see it leading to disappointment. I'm hoping they have the same team working on it that did Judge Dredd and Death, especially the same factory. That way, it will have good QC and that cool clean gloss paint applications.

Exactly. I need to see more of the piece to get excited, but I'm just glad to hear he's taken on this license.
