Pics look good. I certainly like the unmasked head more than the head that shipped with it. I have one of these I'm selling well below retail and can't get much of a bite. Sad.

Don’t know if anyone’s posted this before but you can get a much better saluting pose using one of the Avengers Captain America hands. Held off buying this for ages but glad I did now as it looks much better in hand.

Got this figure today and I really like him. The shoulders/arms are a liitle wonky and keep him from being truly great imo and he definitely takes some fiddling. But I really dig this figure especially given what I paid. I think he is a very solid comics based Golden Age Cap. Looks great with the other Cap figures as well.

figured I put this here since it did start from the star-spangled figure. It's far from done. I snagged the outfit quite a few times in the process, but that's okay since I'm going to dirty him up some. Don't really know where I'm going with him, but I did want more of a comic feel.

Has anyone tried to use the Man of Steel body with this Star Spangled costume? I think that the MOS body would work much better with the star spangled costume than the one that came with it.

It wouldn't work for a couple of reasons:

The MOS body has an attached neck

The MOS body is really REALLY big.

Here are a few pics to illustrate:

On the right is the MOS figure. On the left is my custom MOS figure on a TTM20 body(Notice how much taller the MOS body is):

Now here is a Rescue head on a TTM20:

When you see how much bigger the TTM20 is than the Rescue head, then you'd realise how much the MOS body would dwarf any Cap headsculpt.

The HT TTM-19 is perfect for Captain America, the others look crazy big. The TTM-20 is good for Arnie or fully obscured figures (Vader) only IMO. Chest/moobs are way too low.


Here is Spangled Capt on a TTM-19. Shoulder slope, chest and arms are perfect inside the spandex outfit.
And it makes the head look in scale as well.
