I think this wolverine neck plug (the one in the head) is placed lower then previous releases which elongates it. the neck plug in the bodies neck is the same on all figures using this body. for the tank top look the origin wolverine is the nicer one, but you could shorten this ones head to sit lower too

I'm sure they did that specifically to make sure the neck didn't look too short with the suit. I think the proportion looks PERFECT with the suit on.

Kanine, great pics, dude! Love the dynamic poses, but the billowing jacket and tie really add that sense of motion. Great photos, man. I hope you make some more.

You and Kanine both posted awesome pics! :) Are you still going to do any mods to your stache Arycon? It almost looks like your mustache was lighter to begin with. I wonder if HT made changes, and if this is a second batch.

I can honestly say that my Wolvie's mustache was much darker when I first got it, no matter what lighting scenario he was in.

Ralph it is 100% much better than stock way to go, I do want to point out maybe taking it a tab bit up on the side of the area by the lips handle bar area it looks too clean there IMO
Hey man, thanks! :) Yeah, I will be adding actual strands of hair and a stubble today. So those areas will look much nicer ;) If I feel particularly brave, I think I might be adding a few more low- and high-lights.

The only part that I still really think is off are the eyes. The HT HS eyes are okay, but iris/pupil are very small in comparison to Jackman's. Jackman has very beady eyes, where you see very little white of the eyes. Almost all you see is pupil and iris. The iris in Jackman's eyes is also much lighter, like a hazel. On the HT sculpt, the pupil and iris are almost the same color. It makes the eyes look a bit cartoony.

Can't wait for the light armor Thor. I'm sure the body is way too big for Wolvie but I really want to see how he'll look with the seamless arms.

Omg LOL! Liefeld. That poor guy. Yanno...I saw a blog post once about the top 50 worst Liefeld drawings. Man, it brought up some memories. I used to idolize Liefeld. Then I got som anatomy training and realized how totally borked Liefeld's art is. Like 50 teeth in every mouth and a dozen pouches around the waist and each thigh.

@Ralph: Yeah. My stache does look lighter compared to others. Its actually light enough to hit with a flesh wash to lighten it up. Most of the face issue the light color of the chops. Im def going to darken that up. Overall my HS doesnt look nearly as bad as some. The soul patch is bugging me. Im probably going to nail poilsh remover that off and lighten the chin up. Im also going to darken the stache up at the corners of his mouth. Wolvy's stache / beard should look like he shaved his face under his nose and left hair above the corner or his mouth. Im going for that look.

I also second the eyes look...wrong. i dont know how to explain it. For one my HS isnt looking forward. He is looking slightly off to the side. Its weird. And the eyes arent fully painted in...I mean the white part. Its like they rushed it. Def needs some attention. Im not going crazy though. I think some kinor mods are all that is needed. I already picked up paints. Sweet Jeebus theyve gotten expensive. About $60 for everything I needed. I went with Vallejo paints. Theyre 5ml more than Citadel and have eye dropper tips. Great for not wasting paint and making mixes easily.

My fiancee saw The Wolverine as I was unboxing it. With the short neck and broad shoulders torso (with all layers on) she said he looked like Spongebob. :lol

Anyways, here's what I did with mine:

Chronos -- that looks so much better. I may do the same if I ever end up getting the figure, but then I'd have to buy both :lol

Maybe I will just wait and hope they do one from DOFP.

My Wolverine arrived today and I'm happy with him. My wife thinks it's the poorest likeness of any of my hot toys - but I'm satisfied with it (May or May not be cognitive dissonance at work, but I see Hugh in it).

Anyway, I'm a horrible photography using an iPhone for a camera, but I thought this turned out cool in an unintentional way....
